I don't 'think' it's the Persian Gulf, I know it. I like to make sure of my facts before I say anything to embarrass myself. It's OFFICIALLY called the Persian Gulf since like decades and decades but people started calling it the Arabian Gulf(unofficially) so next time open a history book or fire up Wikipedia before you come and attack me because you obviously have no idea what you're talking about. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persian_Gulf

do you think its bad to show shoulders? like haram? i personally dont and i dont think its a valid reason for not wearing sleeveless things what do you think? x

It's haram to show any skin other than the hands and face but people still do it? Same thing with hair. So if your parents' reasoning to not letting you wear sleeveless is because it's haram, then tell them I still wear short sleeves that show my arms and I don't cover my neck or my hair either so no difference. I understand when parents say no to shorts because legs are kind of an 'attracting' attribute to the woman(just like her chest and behind) so yeah but not so much tanks, I never heard a guy being attracted to shoulders or a bare arm?x

I don't remember saying that? & I don't wear shorts here anyways, but I do wear tanktops. I don't ask them, I just wear it, they don't really have a problem with tanktops. & just ask your mom if you can, and if she says no, ask her to give you a reason and if the reason is valid then don't argue. After all, your parents know best and it's best to listen to them. x
