When y'all record videos on PC, what software do you use? I've been using Action! but it's starting to lag up on me.

At work we use Shadowplay. But I highly recommend OBS. I used to use Action! at home, but then I started having issues with it. OBS is free and just look up ideal recording settings online to make sure you're set up correctly. For recording purposes, I recommend regular OBS over OBS Studio. Studio seems a little more complicated setting-wise.

You seem like a confident person, where does that come from? There's a lot of stuff that I want to do but I feel constantly held back by simultaneously being afraid and weirdly feeling guilty for being afraid. How did you get started and how do you stay so seemingly self-assured?

Well I'm glad I seem that way, because it's not easy to stay confident about yourself. To be honest, I really don't like a lot of things about myself, and often wish I could change them. I've always been that way. To the point where I've suffered from depression for roughly 3 years of my life total. I think making people laugh is what helped me kind of get over that. Started in high school and just kept going. Making people laugh and smile makes me feel good about myself and reminds me that if I wasn't who I was today, I wouldn't have such a great job and fanbase.

So out of curiosity, what are the odds of someone who's skilled and knowledgeable about video editing joining AH, or even RT for that matter. Not looking for the quick and easy path, but if the opportunity were to arise...you know, might as well give it a shot!

If the opportunity arises, count yourself extremely lucky. Basically, if you're skilled at video editing, then get a job in editing. Don't limit yourself to one company because you think it'd be the most fun. It's way more important to get a job doing what you love, not just where you'd want to be.

Kind of a long story, and I talk about it on Off Topic. Basically it was something I joked about a while ago because of a drawing someone made that featured a character who looked like me, but with green hair. Same style too, just the top dyed and not the sides. Kat told me to do it, but wait until after the wedding so I did. Also green is my favorite color, so why wouldn't I do this color?

Really make good quality stuff. Invest in proper recording equipment, and actually edit your videos. Don't just put up an hour of you player. Cut that down to the best 15 minutes of you playing. People wont get bored and leave if all they see is the highlights.
