Very nerve racking. I watched videos of these guys for years and then was just supposed to act like they were my co-workers. I still have a hard time talking to some of them because I'm still a huge fan. Eventually they'll just be friends.
Any conventions you are thinking of coming to? Either RoosterTeeth associated or alone?
Well I'll definitely be at RTX (assuming I'm not fired by then). Would love to finally attend a Pax Prime, but we'll have to wait and see if I can snag tickets.
How did you come up for the raps in your epic rap battles of RT and are you going to make more of those?
I would just jot down notes about both people in the rap and then work on fitting those in in creative ways. It just kind of happens, in all reality. I don't really have a process for it. And two raps are currently finished, that haven't been released. A battle between X-Ray and Vav, and one about the Tower of Pimps. Maybe one day they'll come out, but that's up to the people at RT. Not me.
Do you guys read the YouTube comments? and how do you guys feel about most of them?
I do. I've always been really amused by comments that are ridiculously rude. Basically, read a comment, attach a facial expression to it, and then picture someone angrily typing with that expression. Makes you laugh every time. Sometimes they get irritating, but not often.
Is there a reason that out of the "new kids" (you, Matt and Kdin), you're the one who gets pulled away to play games with the AH guys if they need someone?
I'm really not. Matt and I get pulled in pretty much equally. It just hasn't happened in quite a while, and the Crota Raid took forever.
Don't remember any specific one that was clever or anything. I did like how someone said if I was ever on a team with Michael we should be Team Short Temper
Zombies/Aliens/Robots/Mutants/Gus has taken over the world and due to a shipping error you are currently overstocked on whacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube men, what do you do?
Roll myself up in them and allow the Zombies/Aliens/Robots/Mutants/Gus to eat me
Since you were hired from the community (and before you were hired you were popular in the community), what advice would you give to someone that wants their content to stick out and get noticed?
Use lots of different co-commentators, especially ones who are already popular on the channel. They'll definitely help you if you ask them. Also make sure you're having fun. People can hear when you aren't
