What foes it mean when people answer "just because" when ask them "why"?

Saying "Just because" is an easy way to give yourself an excuse for doing something (without providing an actual reason or explanation). For example, "Why did you eat all my fries?!" "Just because." 🏻♂️

Wahts holy moly means, is it a rant?

It's just something people say when they're surprised or impressed. For example, "Holy moly, did you see that Ferrari speed by?" (It's exactly like "Holy cow!" or "Holy smoke!")

I don't understand this sentence, can you please explain to me the meaning of this sentence, " I’m enabling, and I’ve been doing it for years. And now I’m paying the ultimate price, because it’s costing me you, Auburn." What does enabling means? Thanks!

In that example, "enabling" means 'encouraging or supporting someone's bad behavior, bad habits, etc.' For example, if you're trying to quit smoking, it might be next to impossible if you have enablers around you who offer you free cigarettes or carelessly leave them lying around.

hey, it's abt Ariana's song tittled "Baby I". My question is why "i" located at the end of the sentence? can you guys explain with other examples too? thank you and sorry for my english xx

Hi. The general rule is this: if you find something in a song that sounds strange, don't trust it as standard grammar. As we wrote in this article (http://bit.ly/2r1Ivo5), singers and songwriters really don't care about proper grammar; it's not their job to do so. They care about expressing themselves (or, if you're a cynic, selling songs). It's all about style, not about being grammatically correct. 😉

Hi.I have a question for you. "It never been easy" or " it has never been easy", which one is correct?I'm easily got confused between this two sentences and i don't know which one i should use? Can u help me with this?Thank you 🌹

"It has never been easy" is correct. "Has been" is a very common example of the present perfect tense, which you can learn more about on this page: http://bit.ly/2r1ioxP

Whats the different lawyer and attorney ?

They are used interchangeably in the United States. If you want to get really technical, an attorney is someone who actually practices law in court, e.g., defending a client who is on trial. "Lawyer" is a broader term. It is someone who has passed the bar exam and may or may not be working as an attorney. For example, a lawyer can just have an office and give legal advice (but not practice law in court).
Having said that, not many people (except lawyers and attorneys) care about the difference.

which one is true "no one can replace you" or "no once can't be replaced by you"? and what do those mean?

They have different meanings. "No one can replace you" means that there is nobody that can take your place, because you are special, you are unique, you are the only one I love, etc.
"No one can't be replaced by you" means that you can replace everybody else. For example, if I don't like my friend, I can replace him with you. If I don't like my brother, I can replace him with you, and so on.

Hi, may i know how can i improve my written and spoken english? Grammar is a problem even though i did a lot of grammar practice worksheet. I read a lot as well but i just cant write or speak fluently )-:

Hi! We wrote two articles that provide the kinds of tips you're looking for.

Good luck! 👍🏻

thank God or thanks God? thankyou

If something good happens to you (or if something bad doesn't happen), you say "Thank God!" For example, "Thank God I woke up on time today even though I forgot to set the alarm." Here's another example: "Thank God I have a fully-charged phone to keep myself busy for the next three hours." 📱
"Thanks, God" is what you would say directly to God, e.g., in a prayer. For example, "Thanks, God, for giving me such wonderful friends."

What's wrong with the word "ain't"?

It's considered slang/informal. It's fine to use when you talk to or text with friends, but you should never use it in an essay for school, professional email, job interview, or in any other situation that requires professionalism or the use of standard English.

hi, u guys really helping me learning english. and i have this question 'bout this sentence" I was going to be a nurse. I had it all figured out", then "I don’t have it all figured out anymore". what does figured out means in those sentence ? thanks, stay blessed :)

In those examples, "figured out" means 'solved,' 'understood,' or 'planned.' Here's a rough translation: "I was going to be a nurse. I understood what it took to become a nurse, and I had it all planned out. But I'm not sure anymore."

Could you please tell me about noun end with -ed? For example "sun tanned skin". Why word "tan" use -ed? Thanks😊

Those are called 'participle adjectives.' (Such adjectives can end in -ed or -ing.) For example, "The boring class is not popular among students." Here's another example, "The bored students couldn't wait for the class to end." For more examples, take a look at this page: http://bit.ly/2rJzBK6

Hi! I'm wondering about the meaning of a sentence from song lyrics. "I'm falling around you". Is this a verb phrase? Or does it have another meaning beside its literal sense? Could you explain this for me?? Thank you so much <3 (oh, btw, the song is about love and it's a little bit sad..)

Hi. "I'm falling AROUND you" is not a standard idiomatic expression. Since it's from a song, it's most likely that the songwriter was making a play with words. The standard expression is "I'm falling FOR you," which means "I'm falling in love with you."

Halo dear Could You explain to Me, the meaning of ' I see You when I see you' Thanks in advance

Hi. It's like saying "goodbye," but it's used more commonly by people (friends) who don't meet or see each other often (because of distance, busy schedules, etc.).
Henry: I'll see you when I see you.
Ethan: Cool. I'll see you around.

So because, "...than her," is used commonly, it's considered right? Isn't it grammatically incorrect or something? Sorry. Lol. I'm really confused with what pronoun to use after "than".

There are many things in English that were at one time considered "incorrect" but are now considered correct because so many people use it the "wrong way." One glaring example is "I couldn't care less" (the original correct idiom) vs. "I could care less" (the once-nonstandard variant). So many people say "I could care less" that it's now considered also correct. English is a fluid language, so it's good to write or speak in a way that is natural (instead of always sticking to old and rigid "rules").
