What's the meaning of Poignant?

"Poignant" = emotionally moving (usually in a sad way). For example, if you watch a scene in a movie that makes you cry, it would be a *poignant* scene.
As much as Henry and Peter didn't like the ending of "Tokyo Ghoul √A," they agreed that the scene of Kaneki carrying his best friend Hide across the snow was indeed poignant.

"you don't even do that = kamu bahkan tidak melakukannya" is that true?

Sorry, but we have no idea what "kamu bahkan tidak melakukannya" means. (*^_^*)

when we use do,does, and did ?

Do = present tense for I, you, we, they, and plural nouns:
- Do they know that "Loser" is a great song?
- Do we have to go to school tomorrow?
- Peter and Henry do not like to listen to English dubs of anime.
Does = present tense for she, he, it, and singular nouns:
- Does it ever snow in Los Angeles?
- Nan does her work either really early in the morning or really late at night.
- Does she know that there is no period after "P" in T.O.P?
Did = past tense of "do" for everything:
- Did Henry leave his phone in his car again?
- Did you tell Nan about the new BIGBANG videos?
- Peter did not like "Bae Bae" as much as "Loser."

Is your major a BA in English literature??

A BA is a degree (bachelor's degree). English is the major.
For example, you could say, "Henry has a BA from UC Berkeley. He majored in English."

Isn't the period supposed to go outside the parentheses? For example (I bought a car). ??

Yes ... and no.
- Yes: My friend and his wife are meeting me and Nan for coffee later today (at Copa Vida in Pasadena).
- No: My friend and his wife and meeting me and Nan for coffee later today. (We are excited to finally meet his wife.)
In other words, we put the period inside if it's a complete sentence; we put it outside if it's a phrase that is part of a sentence.

Is "I've never been more proud" correct? Should I use "prouder" instead?

Both are OK. 👌 (Technically, "prouder" is the comparative form and "proudest" is the superlative form.)

What does poor judgement means?

"Poor judgment" means using very little common sense or wisdom in making a decision, e.g., When Peter chose to put out the fire by pouring vodka over it, he showed very poor judgment.

You can go to somewhere by plane or car or bus, but what if you walk to somewhere?, do you go by walk or by feet? Thank you :P

English is an interesting language. Walking becomes "on foot," e.g., Most students get around the campus on foot.

'Because being a muslim is too mainstream.' What does it mean actually? Thank you. :)

Anything that is "too mainstream" means that there are too many people doing it or that it is too popular. Therefore, if someone says that "Being a Muslim is too mainstream," it means that being a Muslim is a really common thing to do.
For example, "In Korea, getting plastic surgery is too mainstream" means that many people in Korea get plastic surgery.

hello there! i think i'm going to pursue my studies in tesl but at the same time i'm not into reading books/novels. what should i do? should i force myself to read and read? (plus, i'm not into anything that related to science and maths and i think i'm gonna go with tesl. i hope that makes sense)

Hi! We wish we could be more helpful, but we honestly have no knowledge about the TESL. Sorry!

Is "Goodbyes always make my throat hurts," correct? Thank you!

"Goodbyes" is plural, so "hurts" should be "hurt."
Also, "Saying goodbye always makes my throat hurt" is a better way of saying it. ✌

"take care of yourself" or "take good care of yourselves" ? need help thxx

The issue is about "yourself" (singular) or "yourselves" (plural).
If you're saying it to one person, use "yourself": Take care of yourself, Nan.
If you're saying it to more than one person, use "yourselves": Take care of yourselves, Nan and Henry.
"Good" is optional in both examples. ✌

Tokyo Ghoul! It is an awesome manga with great action and story. Too bad the anime wasn't as great as the manga 😖 *sorry for suddenly rushed in 😁

We totally agree with you. The manga is amazing, but "Tokyo Ghoul √A" (the season 2 anime) was incredibly disappointing.

Why is it in Hollywood or bollywood their celebs can get married and people can get over it and they still gonna be so popular among fans plus in high demand too. sometimes reading those netizens comments gave me cancer :/

So-called "fans" making death threats to celebrities because they happen to be in love with someone is the stupidest thing ever. It sickens us to our core. A true fan should be happy that their idol is happy. Period. End of story.
