when do we use "like" and "as"? You did it LIKE what i expected or You did it AS i expected

We use LIKE with a noun phrase; we use AS/AS IF/AS THOUGH with a verb phrase.
- You play chess LIKE a professional. ("A professional" is a noun phrase.)
- You play chess AS I expect a professional to play. ("I expect ..." is a verb phrase.)
- You play chess AS THOUGH you were a professional. ("You were a professional" is a verb phrase.)

a pink tiny elephant or a tiny pink elephant? please advice or advise...tq

Generally, the adjective order in English is:
1. Quantity
2. Quality
3. Size
4. Age
5. Shape
6. Color
7. Proper adjective (often nationality, other place of origin, or material)
8. Purpose or qualifier
Therefore, it would be a "tiny (size) pink (color) elephant." 🐘

what is the meaning of trust issues?

"Trust issues" = difficulty trusting people because you have been hurt too often or too painfully in the past. For example, if your best friend betrayed your trust and posted all of your deepest secrets on Tumblr, you might become so hurt that you don't trust anyone again. You might have trust issues moving forward.

Hi YUNiversity, can I ask you whether it's "10 years old" or "10 year old"?

Hi. 🙋If you're not using hyphens, then it's "10 years old," and this is how you use it:
- My brother's phone is 10 years old.
- Her sister is 10 years old.
- Isn't he only 10 years old?
If you use hyphens, this is how you use it:
- My brother's 10-year-old phone needs to be replaced.
- Her 10-year-old sister is going to Harvard next year. 🎓
- The 10-year-old signed a contract with Real Madrid. ⚽️
