james is jumping from a plane, taking his secret camera and start to leering. this gerund is right or not?

"James is jumping from a plane, taking his secret camera and starting to leer." (Use "starting" to maintain parallelism with "jumping" and "taking.")

whats the diff between let and lets?

LET and LETS are both present tense verbs. LET is for I, you, we, they, and plural nouns. LETS is for he, she, it, and singular nouns:
- They LET us watch movies all day. 🎥
- She LETS us use our iPhones in class. 📱
- We will LET you eat during the conference. 🍴
- He LETS his dogs bark all day and night. 🐶

"I miss my mom, family, friends and all those whom once were close to me. " Am i using 'whom' correctly?

"I miss my mom, family, friends, and everyone WHO was once close to me." We would say "he was close to me," not "hiM was close to me." Therefore, we use "who," not "whoM." (For more on who/whom, read this: http://tmblr.co/Z90tLy1mXXazo)

Hi, what the difference between east coast and west coast (except for the east coast is in east and west coast is in west. Lol) not Really related in english grammar but you're the only one i know who lives in America so yeah

Great question. There are so many differences between the East Coast and West Coast, and we're not talking just about rap music. Someone could easily write an essay about this, so we won't bother going into the details here. (Just Google it, and you'll get a basic idea.) Lastly, we admins are all from the West Coast ("the Best Coast" 😎), and we love it here. But if we were from the East Coast, we would probably have a different idea.

Is using bombastic words in essay important ? Will the marks become higher ? or vice versa ? 🙉

Do not use "bombastic" (pompous) words in essays unless your writing style is so sophisticated that those words blend in naturally. If your writing is generally average or bad, bombastic words stand out in a bad way. For example, "I am tired. I partied too much yesterday. I really liked the bacchanalian revelry." ("Bacchanalian revelry" doesn't fit with the really simplistic language of the other sentences.) Also, if you use a bombastic word incorrectly, you will look twice as dumb. Use simple, clear, and descriptive words instead of random bombastic words.
