how can I really be myself around guys cos I started co-eding not long ago :( on few occasion I tried changing myself to not be akward and more open but in turn I got a few comments on how I'm fake leaving me in a dilemma on how I should 'human'. rly hope u can advise!!

(Cont) worst of all, I did not have a local diploma cert now, and if I wanna study overseas, I would have to go through the foundation program first. Foundation + degree after that = more money required.
I'd say, continue doing what you're doing now because that seems like the best option now. Considering that your family isn't financially stable/wealthy at the moment, I think it's wise to not think of overseas education because really, you don't know how big of a hole that will burn in your pockets. Studying overseas is really not cheap, there's a lot more expenses you have probably not thought of. I know it sucks to not be able to do what you want or do something everyone else is doing just because of your family's financial situation. I understand that fully, but honestly all I have to say is that you've to really ask yourself what do you truly want? Why do you want to study overseas in the first place? Are you really confident that you'd like it there? Are you positive that it will be better? What do you want to do in the future? Things like that. :)
(Cont) it's 30k for the whole degree Programmes and my dad was really mad at me for wanting to study private degree after spending 6k on the diploma as he does not have that much money to pay for me. When I told him that I got into poly, he was very happy bc he did not have to pay as much

(Cont) but after completing 8 months of private diploma, I tried applying for a IT course in poly instead as I heard that private diploma is not recognised and surprisingly I was conditionally accepted into the course. Also, if I were to further my studies(degree) from Kaplan, it is v costly as well

(Cont) oh and I've spent my dad's 6k on private diploma from Kaplan before I got into poly. Because I did very badly for my o level and I couldn't get into a business course in poly which was what I wanted so I decided to go private

(Cont) and as u know, the tuition fees and accommodation, expenses etc are not cheap.. My whole family would literally go mad if they know about this. It's like they would say that I have a proper education(poly) here in SG and I still am not contented etc etc

Hey Cheryl, I'm in poly year 1 right now. I really hate the education system in SG and I wanna study overseas in Australia too. However, I come from a Low-income family. My dad is a taxi driver but my mom doesn't work anymore. It's highly impossible they will have the money for me to study abroad
