When you go to a movie, do you like to sit in the back, middle, or front?
I have no qualms with theater seating. I saw Winter Soldier smack dab in the front row, while I saw ASM 2 with @cherparedeslim last Friday in the third row, and so on and so forth. Do you think you're capable of abusing a woman? Physically or emotionally, including the one you're with.
Definitely not on the physical, but I have to say that emotional abuse is possible in a way that everyone is capable of doing. Everyone has a dark side, so the cliche goes. It's easier to do because it's something you might not even know you're already doing.

No. Not completely. The extent to which I have depends on which incident you're talking about with the question, though.
I guess I'm still stuck in this place where I believe that forgiving oneself is a thing that's pretty self-serving and thus, doesn't really count. I guess I'm still afraid that the moment I let go of the guilt, I'm going to forget the lessons I've learned. Or that the consequences no longer mean anything. Or something. I just can't bring myself to do it, because it all seems so easy and I'm now wary of things that come so easily.
