I know about the Matrix. I've seen all 3 films. I'm just saying that the rabbit hole could refer to the Candleverse, and that Noah may have been sent home, but he's not out of the Candleverse yet. Or maybe I'm just WMG'ing.

That is actually a quote from the 1999 film The Matrix, where a character has the opportunity to learn truths he couldn't possibly fathom on his own. In the case of The Matrix, Neo learns the world he was living in was a computer simulation and the real world had been taken over by machines.
In the case of Noah, who knows what trippy stuff Firebrand could show Noah.
