Technology has existed roughly for as long as humans have. It's just what we defined as technology has changed. The first dung hut was an improvement in housing technology. The leaves used to clothe Adam and Eve was the first clothing technology. To go all the way back to before any form of technology you'd have to be Adam and Eve. And that's provided you believe that story.
But essentially you'd have to go far back enough to where humans lived in the outdoors, no weapons or tools of any kind, or even something covering their body.

Also, just found out: Steam doesn't allow people to release games on weekends. And Halloween 2015 is a Saturday. Scott knew this. So now he's using said date to release...DLC.

I tried turning up the gamma/brightness, but nothing really special besides two doorways.
So two doors, a window, terrible things in small packages, and the Verne Troyer of animatronics.

Since you mentioned Halo, is it worth getting it? I'm on Xbox 360 and I wanted to start with Halo Combat Evolved (1) but it's only available on the original Xbox. :(
Before I answer; the original version of Halo: Combat Evolved is available for download off of Xbox live for the 360. They also released a remastered version to celebrate the 10 year anniversary for the 360 called Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary. That can be purchased as a physical copy.

As far as a game Halo is fantastic. As a story it is amazing. Especially Halo 4. I don't get emotional during video games without good reason. And over an artificial intelligence? Yeah. They did something right.
However; I have a terrible tendency to get lost. So I use the bodies of the dead to guide me.
One other thing; Halo 2 is not on 360 in any form. It's only available on Xbox and Xbox One in the Master Chief Collection. So you'll either have to watch it on YouTube or skip it until you have the last two.
But yes; worth it.

Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas?
I downloaded Fallout 3 due to a friend recommendation. Which I thought to ask her opinion after she shouted Fallout 4 for about a minute when it was announced.
She actually said both 3 and New Vegas were both awesome, I just chose 3 due to praise from Rooster Teeth's "The Patch".
Tomorrow I start my Life is Strange recording, then maybe I'll play Fallout 3. Will not record this playthrough. If I fall in love with the game I'll record a second playthrough.
If not then it'll just be extra gamerscore until I give up.

After seeing BAV's walkthrough of the mission, all I can say is this. Professor Pyg is disturbing as hell. Moreso than Zsasz, Hush, and Mad Hatter put together.
Oh yeah. Pyg is fucked up.
