I've basically stopped paying attention for the sake of what sanity I have. Though my Gram keeps me updated here and there.
Like I've said, now that the asshole is in charge, I hope he can do something good. But so far I've yet to see it. My uncle sings his praises, but that man has his head crammed so far up his ass that I don't listen to him anymore. And not just cause of the Trump thing.
I'm still concerned over the notion he may become a dictator. Just cause of the zealotry of his supporters, and how him and his administration make all these claims that they say are true, won't listen to facts, claim they're "alternative facts" and say the media is our enemy. The media is who got that asshole elected. And maybe Russia.
Then anytime there's something to be concerned with about him it's all "fake news". Where was this outcry of fake news before this shit? Where was the outcry of fake news when a discussion of unlawful government surveillance was interrupted by Justin fucking Bieber? But the fact that taxpayer money is being used to protect Trump's children while they go off to foreign lands to make business deals to make their family even more money, that's not benefitting the American people at all, which is what the taxpayer money is supposed to do, is fake news because it casts a negative light on the white billionaire conservative dickbag we have as a president. Is the media controlled? Yes I think it is. But without them we've no way for the people in power to be held accountable. Not that they are anyway.
And now I want to go back to bed. This stuff is draining.
