Why do you hate cats? Have you seen it live?
It's not that I hate it, it's just not my favorite. I have this weird phobia with people dressed up as talking animals:/

I think I can belt, but sometimes when I do belt it comes out nasally and sounding dry and other times it sounds great. is it because I can only pelt certain parts of certain songs or I'm hurting my voice? yesterday I was belting a lot and I felt like I was croaking. did I over-practice?
If you belt too much, without rest you can hurt or strain your voice. Pace yourself when belting

what are some good ways to practice singing if you don't want your never home alone and don't want your parents to hear?
If you want to sing, you'll have to learn to sing in front of people. I used to have this same problem but eventually I just learned to deal with it and sing in front of my parents! Don't let that stop you from practicing!
what are the most common things you should do to sing/belt well?
Practice, breathe from your diaphragm, do different breathing exercises, don't do too much, don't over exert your voice, rest when needed, use throat coat and ricolas or pastilles!

No hate but why don't you like spring awakening?? I know it is a bit of an envelope pusher, but it's one of my 2 favorites!
I like the fact that it is different, and the original cast, music, and acting was great. But out of all the musicals out there it's just never been one of my favorites.

Possibly, but it really depends on the ages of the rest of the cast and the directors vision for the show.

Well how you hear yourself sing is usually not how you actually sing so I don't think I really qualified to rate myself. But I have been told I sing pretty well!
