Just thought that if you don't mind to add on a bit on your answer about character shoes! I danced in character shoes for a show I did a few months ago. They aren't hard to dance in once you have broken them in. When you are breaking them in its hell. After that its pretty easy and comfy :)
That's what I figured. That they'd be hard to get used to but after a little bit you would be good to go!
