How old are you? What's your favorite show you've been in? Show you be seen? Show you want to be in? And what is your favorite showtune(s)!

Well I won't say exactly how old but I am in high school and my birthday is soon:) my favorite show I have done would be either Honk, Treasure Island, or the Emperors New Clothes. And I would love to be in The Wizard of Oz and Cinderella someday. Those were 2 of the first shows I ever saw!

What's your dream role?

Cinderella (Rodgers and hammersteins cinderella), Eponine (les mis), Katherine (newsies), Dorothy (wizard of oz), galinda (wicked)

I'm about to start high school theatre and I'm auditioning for the sound of music. Do you have any advice, since I'm only a freshman? I love your account!

First of all don't let the fact that your only a freshman stand in your way. My drama teacher is a huge supporter of "seniors get all the leads" but as a freshman I ended up getting the lead in one of her shows. Just go for the part you want and most likely if the director thinks you are right for the part she will cast you no matter the grade. Hope this helps!

I'm also trying out for Tarzan. I'm a 16 year old girl and I'm mentally breakdown from nerves. What role should should I try out for and give me some advice.! Please?

Well with your age you could play Jane or possibly one of the gorillas! And for nerves make sure your well prepared if you know that your ready you won't be as nervous. Also think about something other than the audition for a while. Yes you need to practice but if practicing and worrying is all you do, it will drive you crazy! Go hang out with friends or watch a movie get your brain somewhere else:)

Trying out for Tarzan, I don't know what role I should try out for!! I'm ten, but I saw the movie like, seven years ago..: do you know what role I could play?

Are you a boy or girl? If a boy, you could play young Tarzan. Either boys or girls could also play monkeys.

What was the last show you were in?

I finished high school musical in April and I start shrek rehearsals this week:)

What advice would you give to an actress who has always tried of out for a lead role, but always has ended up in the ensemble ?

Know that the reason you haven't gotten the role isn't necessarily based on talent or ability. Maybe you just weren't right for the role or someone was more suited for it than you. Maybe it just hasn't been the right time yet. Focus on the good though. Have your ensemble roles taught you anything? Think of what you have gained by being in the ensemble. Friendships, knowledge, even tips in how to act or not to act by the actors in the leads. I know I've learned a lot in the ensemble roles I've been in:) just wait one day the perfect role will come along for you!
