Hey I'm auditioning for beauty and the beast jr and I really want belle! Any ideas for an audition song? Thanks so much!!! Ps I loveeee your account

Thank you! And you can try over the rainbow, far from the home I love or the girl I mean to be!

Hey, I have an open audition for Anything Goes in a couple months. I need some song suggestions. I will most likely be in the ensemble. I am an alto/mezzo-soprano. I can belt a little too. Help me! Thanks :)

Sing anything from the 30-40's with ALOT of belt!

You should post a vid of u singing on IG:)

I have an auditions account! It is @/brooklyn_sings! Some don't really sound that great though:/

What should I wear to my audition tonight? It is for my high schools play "you can't take it with you". Do I dress up or wear jeans?

I would wear something nice but also something that you could move easily in if asked to. Maybe like leggings and a nice short/tunic

Top 5 Not as well known musicals ( by that I mean musicals other than say for example Les Miserables or Phantom of the Opera c:)

(In no particular order)
Catch me if you can
Bonnie and Clyde
Dogfight!
Secret garden
Godspell
It's hard to pick because as theatre kids we forget what is less known to "normal" people

No, it doesn't have to be any genre! We are looking at when Brooke gives Elle her alibi from LEGALLY BLONDE but we would both be teased about the "liposuction" thing.

That would work unless you are afraid of the teasing:/
Since its so open it is hard for me to suggest anything so unless i had some more specific information I would just tell you to look online for some good short dialogue scenes
Sorry:/

For my dramatic lit class, my partner and I (both females) have to do a minimum 3 minute speech. Do you have any suggestions! It can be from plays, musical, movies, tv shows, etc.

Does it need to be a certain genre? (Ex. Dramatic, comedic etc...)

I follow you and I always love reading your answers. You seem very smart and informative :)

Aww thank you! That's really nice to hear seeing how often I get criticism on my answers!

Good female audition song for Eulalie Schinn [mayor's wife] in Music man?

Try a song Mae sings in bye bye birdie! (Ex. Kids)

I've heard people say eating lemons and citrus fruit is good for singers, and I've also heard some people say it's bad. I don't what why to believe! What is your opinion on it?

I've heard both too. I've wrap ally used lemon in water and lemon in my tea and it works for me. But it's different for every person

I really want to sign up for this program, and I know I'll have time. But my mom insists that I don't. How do I convince her to let me sign up? She won't listen whenever I try to tell her the facts.

While you need to listen to your mom because she probably has reasons for saying no, make sure you have explained to her clearly all of the details and how this program could benefit you! Best of luck!

What got you into theatre?

I was onstage at a young age (I started ballet when I was 5). I loved to dance. I bang to be drawn to the lights and the makeup and costumes. For some different reasons I had to stop ballet when I was 8. I didn't really know what to do then. But when I was 10 my school started a drama club for the 4-5 grades and I remembered my love for being on stage and auditioned and got the lead in my first show. Even if I hadn't gotten the lead I think I would have still fallen in love.

Any advice for someone who loves theatre and wants to start doing musicals?

Audition for everything! And try to get in dance and voice lessons
