Auditions songs for Seuss, Shrek, and Grease? I have all 3 of these shows coming up this year an really want to be prepared! I'm a girl and have an alto to soprano range (:

You could use songs from Seuss for shrek and vice versa along with some other upbeat songs like
My new philosophy
I speak six languages
And you could use songs from hairspray for grease

Any tips for singing opera? :3

Get some training! Without training ESPECIALLY in opera it can be very easy to harm your voice. Other than that, warm up properly, sing from your diaphragm, and practice!

What's your gender bend dream role?

Peter Pan- it's gender bending right? Played by a girl but the characters a boy?!

I'm auditioning for Governors Honors at my school and I want to do a powerful peace and then maybe bring it down with a comedic piece as my other monologue.

Hmm. None are coming to mind right now but just try looking up dramatic monologues and see what comes up! I'll let you know if I think of anything!

Monologue for an audition for The Real Inspector Hound ?

Look at classic mysteries and whodunnits! Sherlock Holmes, and then there were none... Anything Agatha Christie!

How can I get rid of my stage fright?! When I get on stage by myself I get really nervous and shaky and my voice likes to crack, but when I'm with people I'm cool. I was just asked by my drama teacher to sing at intermission of the play I'm doing this winter. Help please.

Believe that you ARE good! Otherwise your director wouldn't have asked you to sing! And no one in the audience wants you to fail! When I first started theatre I calmed my nerves by taking deep breaths and praying! Also make sure you're prepared! If you're prepared you can have confidence that you will do well!

Everyone says ' oh yeah, I'm going into the medical field , or law school. ' because they want to make a lot of money. I want to make money too, but I want to do what I love . How do you deal with so many people telling you what you want to do isnt good enough (money wise, career wise) :I ?

It's none of their business. But you also need to be realistic. It is very possible but you may not make alot at first until you hit success. But it is possible! Work hard and tell them that you will work hard to achieve your goals no matter how long it takes

In musicals do you believe each singing, dancing and acting are equally important? I'm not the strongest actor but I can sing and dance

Depends on the role but you need to be able to do all three even if you're better at one!

Best musical for a high school to do?

Anything new or modern. Noting that ALOT of other schools do. And never the abridged or jr. Versions!

What is your favorite old movie?

Singing in the rain, Easter parade, anything with gene kelly, Judy garland, Debbie Reynolds, Fred Astaire, Clark gable, or audrey hepburn
