Jadi waktu SD kelas enam dulu gue pernah ambil kelas bahasa Inggris dan di kelas sempet ngebahas tentang light-year. Semua orang (termasuk the 35-year-old teacher) ngetawain gue pas gue bilang light-year itu satuan jarak yang ditempuh oleh cahaya dalam satu tahun. Mereka bilang, "Itu jelas-jelas ada 'year'nya, ya jelas satuan waktu lah, Kent. Dasar bego."

Ka kent. Aku gagal kuliah tahun ini karena memaksakan untuk kuliah kedokteran. Karena memang itu cita2ku. Aku gap 1 year dan belajar lagi buat faculty of med next year. Menurut kaka bagaimana? Apakah itu memalukan? Ketika semua teman2ku sedang dalam euphoria mahasiswa baru. Makasih kak Kent emesh.

soalnya cukai dan segala peraturan yang bikin import ribet itu bakalan meng-discourage kita untuk membeli barang dari luar negeri. Dengan kita membeli barang dari luar negeri, GDP Indonesia bakalan turun dan melemahkan mata uang Rupiah.

We have to elaborate what kind of animals we're talking about.
I'd take an educated guess and say we're talking about dogs and cats since they're the two most common household pets.

In order to understand this, you need to know that dogs and cats were originally hunters. And hunters have this natural instinct to predict how a prey/predator is gonna move based on their facial expression.
.
Moreover, it's essential for hunters to check whether or not the prey (or its predator) has seen them. Hence, their need to gaze at our face.
