If you were granted an autograph from anyone, who would it be?

David Tennant. He's my favorite of the new Doctors.

How do successful people differ from unsuccessful ones?

People who have the drive to not let obstacles stop them are successful. Those who complain about how they can't achieve a goal because of some obstacle are still complaining. If there is one thing I could change about me, it would be learning this lesson much sooner.

Being a stage actor in Houston its common for actors in the area to work in anime do you see yourself working in anime if the opportunity comes up in the future?

If I can find a way to schedule it, I would be very excited to go into voice acting for anime! I love a challenge and seize opportunities improve my craft. I already produce and sometimes direct and act in radio drama, but I would love to work with others who could help me improve this skill set and help me grow as an artist.

What movie inspires you?

The first one to come to mind is THE MUPPET MOVIE. Kermit has a fantastic scene where he wrestles with his own self-doubt. The direction is simple yet profound, and had a huge impact on 4 or 5 year old me. Later, Kermit faces death, but his friends (whom he just met, they barely know him) save him because throughout the movie he genuinely just wants to share joy. I used to be a lot more Kermit-y, and should get back to that.
The last line has stuck with me for decades: "Life's like a movie, write your own ending. Keep believing, keep pretending. We've done just what we set out to do." Jim Henson was taken away from us too soon.

What do animals dream about?

Ginger dreams about chasing something. I know no other details about her or other animals. But here's a cute picture.

What was the last CD you bought?

The double disc version of YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES. This score is seriously underrated.

What vegetable do you hate?

Brussels sprouts. My wife loves them. I enjoy them best with dry ice, action figures and a camera.

What is your favorite ice cream?

I have to pick one? Blue Bell Cookies & Cream is always my standby, but I wish I could go back in time and get Häagen-Dazs German Chocolate or Blue Bell Italian Creme Cake.

Do you believe in aliens?

The universe is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, to assume we're absolutely alone in the universe is ludicrous to me. Whether aliens have visited us, however, I'm not sure why they would waste their time. (But the science fiction fan in me wants to believe.)

Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?

I'll never understand the reasons, but yes. But it has something to do with how everyone's interconnected. The kindness you put into the world comes back to you.
