You have been playing the Doctor at the TRF for a while - is he ever going to get a companion? Or a Missy?
Actually, we had a Missy before there was a Missy, and her name was Queen Yana of the Golden Horde.
I think my son is gay but is afraid to tell me. What can I do to show my unconditional love and support?
I might not be the best person to ask, but like in many parental situations, lead (and love) through example. Make sure he understands how supportive and non-judgmental you are in all aspects of life and, eventually, when he’s ready he will come out to you.

Aside from all things pumpkin spiced, what is the one thing, if any, you enjoy about the autumn season?
If you’re only looking for the one thing that I enjoy during the months that are labeled “autumn,” it’s getting to be the Doctor at Texas Renaissance Festival. In addition to entertaining others while playing this awesome role, I also get to spend a lot of time with friends.
What says "autumn" to you? For me, Pumpkin spice Cliff bars, Starbucks, lip balm and assorted cold essentials spell an oncoming fall.
I love the “idea” of autumn. I’d be sitting outside a cafe on a Sunday afternoon with my wife and our dogs. Crisp fallen leaves would swirl red and brown on a sidewalk as a breeze passes. We’d wear sweaters, be drinking coffee or tea, and reading novels or doing the New York Times crossword. Probably the dogs wouldn’t do those things, but I can totally see myself as that guy. The reality though is I live on the Texas Gulf Coast in 2017. Growing up, I can remember autumn days here. The season wasn’t as long as summer, but it was there. Unfortunately, autumn now for me is a smattering of random cool days which sometimes precedes winter. Occasionally if the weather’s nice, I’ll roll down the windows and take a nap in the car on my lunch break. Otherwise, my autumn traditions are Texas Renaissance Festival, and mostly trying to avoid the baked goods brought into the office and also complaining to grocers and retailers that it’s not yet Christmas. (But when Christmas legitimately comes around, come talk to me.)
Questions like this remind me that I am probably 20-30 years older than the target users for ASKfm.
16th Century-ish...yes...it's wibbly-wobbly...and I plan to blend in. But you know several people that blend into that century from multiple countries...and time periods...
True. Perhaps we have mutual friends.
What should I do if the vehicle won't turn on again after I turn it off, and the butterfly stays open?
Pray there’s no typhoon in Kyoto.
No worries on not being in Conroe. Recently, I've found I will be there rather regularly for a couple months. Also, at some point during the next three weekends I will be west and south of there, and a few hundred years in the past.
Hmm... perhaps the 16th Century-ish?
Where were you born?
Beloit, WI
Common Weekday Outfit PAP Or Explain Outfit?
I have an office job outside acting, so it’s your typical oxford shirt and khakis I’m afraid. I have one brown and one black pair of office appropriate Doc Martens.
Do you think it is difficult to live as a vegetarian/vegan?
I have some friends who are very happy being vegan, so I suppose they’ve worked out any real difficulties. I know one or two other folks who can’t be vegan for legitimate medical reasons. As for me, I really enjoy and crave meat, so it would be very difficult for me to change my mind set. I don’t think I could go completely vegetarian or vegan, but I could probably cut my meaty meals a bit more. Also, I saw an article recently about animal-free beef created in a lab and I certainly would be willing to try it.
The pics and vids of the Doctor with the mini-pepperpot are adorable. Fangirl/boy happy place: interacting with the Doctor. Dream: the Doctor extends his (her) hand to you and says "come on!"
Or, “RUN!”
Who is the funniest person you know
Michael Paras. You should catch his stand-up in Houston sometime!
It's Halloween! What's your outfit this year?

Worth it 2 go early 4 TRF? B4 gate opening?
Depends on how interested you are in beating traffic, starting during the coolest part of the day, and seeing the entire cast all at the same time. Weather permitting, Royal Proclamations happen right after 9am cannon at the Gazebo, but also right after Noon Parade and 6pm (with limited cast on Saturday) at the Globe Theatre.
V1 on its way. Flattered that you would share V2. Shouldn't have to get too creative - I'm sure you have surmised that we both know a couple places in Conroe where a blind transfer could happen. Besides, you really don't want to know, right? Spoilers...
Hmmm... have to figure out when next I will be in Conroe. It probably won’t be any time soon...
What's always in your bag?
Way too much
Can I get married at fifty with little?
That depends entirely upon you and your partner. It is possible. Love conquers all, but money usually makes things easier.
hi
hello
What's your country remarkable for?
Effectively giving the finger to rest of the world by pulling out of the Paris Agreement.
Challenge accepted. Graphic novel, yes? Exactly how would one acquire the text? Judging from Amy's outfit, I'm guessing it is early in her timeline with Eleven.
As far as WHO continuity, it’s some time after “A Christmas Carol,” since Amy and Rory are married and Sardick is referenced. There are fewer continuity clues for TNG, so I think really anywhere between “Family” and “All Good Things...” would work. The 2012 series is eight issues republished as two graphic novels. I found the first volume available from independent sellers at Amazon (linked below). I can gift you Volume 2 since I have an extra copy. I guess you’ll have to be creative on how I get it to you if you wish to remain anonymous.Star Trek: The Next Generation / Doctor Who: Assimilation 2 Volume 1 https://www.amazon.com/dp/1613774036/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_V-Y8zb295028Z
Klingon Cybermen are just wrong. What's next - Dalek Borg? Although they are much closer to each other species-wise...research is not an entirely bad thing when one wants to write about a subject, vrai? Ugg - Vulcan Silence?
Perhaps someone in the DOCTOR WHO production office agreed with you. IDW Comics no longer holds their license. I’m finally reading the “Assimilation^2” crossover comic and enjoying it a lot more than I expected, so I recommend withholding judgment until reading it. If a glimpse of Klingon Cybermen is the weirdest thing that happens, I can live with it. (Incidentally, Rory appears in this series...)
