Hard to say. 2016 was fairly good to me personally, but I had much more hope for the wellbeing of our planet in 2015.

We haven't been out much this year. We're looking forward to ROGUE ONE and FANTASTIC BEASTS, but haven't made time for those yet.
I enjoyed the new GHOSTBUSTERS and STAR TREK BEYOND, but probably my favorite so far is ARRIVAL. That movie is excellent and has probably replaced CLOSE ENCOUNTERS as my favorite "first contact" movie.

What is the name of the actor whom you dragged by the ear for ~The lion in winter~? How did he react when you did that to him?
LOL. That would be the very young Caleb Glass playing a not-yet-King John.
To clarify, we gave the carefully choreographed illusion of me dragging him by the ear. It took a lot of practice, but he was never hurt and we both had a great time.

I don't think so, but I do recall dragging an actor by the ear for THE LION IN WINTER.
Are you going to watch "Rogue One" or have already watched it?
We're really excited about seeing it, just haven't yet found the time. (We finally saw DOCTOR STRANGE just last week!)
Your Christmas tree is beautiful! Where did you buy it from?
Thanks. It's an artificial tree my wife got from Target many years ago. It was a year that we were dragging our feet in putting up a tree because we knew we wouldn't be in town on December 25.
I must have started whining about wanting a tree because the meager 6 foot one we still enjoy today (even though we have much higher ceilings now) was a surprise for me one day after work.

I've seen the animated one from way back. I have not seen any of the recent movies, but now that they're all on Blu-ray I'm sure I'll sit down to a marathon of them before too long.

Yes. There's a scene in THE PRODUCERS that comes to mind.

I wear a wedding band and a leather bracelet a friend made to hold my Fitbit.

I try not to engage in it, but I've seen it happen.

I've been drinking a lot of the coffee they make at the office, but I usually prefer tea if I'm treating myself.

I drive. I don't know that I have a favorite brand. But I f I could have any car real or imaginary, I think I'd want a Karman Ghia converted to run as a plug-in hybrid.
Is it wrong to spend money on expensive food when people are dying of hunger?
No, but it is wrong to completely ignore those who are dying or suffering.
