What type of movies do you like?

PrateekGupta1A’s Profile PhotoPrateek Kumar Gupta
I like to watch those kind of movies which have a good story line, a social message, a few witty dialogues, no melo-drama etc. Personally I love the work of Christopher Nolan in films like Inception, Prestige, Insomnia and Memento. I love to watch movies that forced me to use my brain and activate my thought process, but when I am in light hearted mood I like watching comedy and hard core action movies and documentaries about wildlife and science, Science fiction, and cartoon type movies like Shrek. I am a kid at heart and have never stopped learning. My favorite films are usually comedies or something with a positive or uplifting message. I think it’s also important that the plot should keep moving forward. Although, It depends on my mood. I love comedy films, I like to laugh at physical comedy, and everyday humor. I also like thriller and suspense, but only if the ending is not predictable, if I can predict it, then it wasn’t suspense
And I found a new love for movies that tell secrets, exposes, seems to be a lot of those coming out lately, and who doesn’t like their fave comic books coming to life? The movies I love are the ones that make me question my own existence. They’re the kind that wake me up and motivate me to think. I love foreign films, cult films, especially if there is an element of truth woven through the plot. I like comedies, horror and crime thrillers.

What is the weirdest thing you have seen in someone else’s home?

PrateekGupta1A’s Profile PhotoPrateek Kumar Gupta
Once I've been to some remote area that I don't know where it was with my family to attend a wedding reception party, the people at that place drink their first pee (first pee that they get in the morning). It's disgusting but it's a myth that they follow and they claim that it prevents one from getting I'll or getting any sort of disease! Well, now I relate what that guy in Man Vs. Wild tries to do! They are right on their part but since we think it as something very disgusting, our reactions turn out to be ewww! 🤢

Omg how did u know all that, it exactly happened with me 😟

“I know everything that has happened to everybody in the past, everything that is happening now and everything that will happen in the future.”
Don't let everything that's happening overwhelm you. Try to slow down those thoughts and accept what has happened to move forward mindfully.
“If we knew the meaning to everything that's happening to us, then there would be no meaning.”
Everything that's happening to you, is what's supposed to be happening to you, even if you don't know it or understand it. GOD never fails.

This is so fucking true

Mirror mai dekh k kaisi feeling aati hai ? #Staif

Naqash_khan’s Profile PhotoNaqash Khan
Normally when I look at Mirror I smile (My reflection Smiles back to me). It makes me feel confident. It’s my day, I can make the best of it, gives me a positive flow.
Looking at yourself through the mirror, you know all the tough time you have gone through. After all those struggles and hardship, you rock! You still fight. When ever you fall, you always rise. Never lose this attitude.
(That's what I say to myself)

She broke my heart, Suggest me some ways to move on 😭

Stop acting like your ex was God’s gift to men. She wasn't perfect. If we’re being honest, she probably wasn't even close. Make a list of her annoying traits whatever you have to do, just take her off that pedestal. Unfriend her on Fb. Delete all her messages. Dispose off all the gifts she might have given you (if any). Burn that overly romantic appearing card she sent you. If she doesn't need you, you sure don't need any of her reminder either. After you’ve gotten closer, don’t contact her. Maybe you said some crap about trying to stay friends, maybe you made some idiot vow to “always be there for each other,” but forget it. By staying in touch with your ex, you’re asking for months (if not years) of on-again-off-again uncertainty. Imagine how freaked out you'll be the first time you see some strange dude in her profile picture, & you'll see why a clean break is essential. Now that you’re single, I suggest hitting the gym or taking a jog. It’s a healthy way to work out all of that post-breakup frustration. Getting in shape is also a good way to boost your self-esteem. One of the things you had to sacrifice when in a committed relationship was time with your friends. Have fun with your friends, go watch a movie, etc. Enjoy your new self. Remember how she avoided you. How she had the time to go out with her friends for late night parties, etc, but lacked 10 minutes for a phone call to your number. Recall how miserable you felt at being the mercy of someone's attention. That guy who keeps putting his cover photo with your "girlfriend”. Remember how cold she reacted when you said you are coming to visit her in her city. Remember you told her friend (guy) that you were together & she calls you up saying not to disclose your relationship to anyone. You don't need someone in your life who doesn't want to be there.
Forgive but never forget. Here's a lesson life teaches- https://ask.fm/ankitaasamaddar/answer/148280238099

What is the most useful life hack in studying?

ankitaasamaddar’s Profile PhotoAnkita Samaddar
Go public.
Have you tried reading a book at a public library or a cafe and noticed that you have an insane level of concentration? People walking by and small distant chats do not really bother you at all. In fact, so focused that you don’t even feel like leaving your seat even though you wanna pee!
Here’s why:
Your bed is not near you anymore and hence its gravitational force is not strong enough to pull you.
You have a feeling that someone is watching you, and hence you should behave properly and doing real work is the only option.
You have spent a penny on that small cup of tea/coffee and you think that the only way to justify that spending is to have something done by the end of the day.
You have travelled 20 minutes just to get to the cafe/library and hence you do not want to be guilty of wasting time, thus being productive is the only choice.
You’re now too far out from home to go back and do chores that you’ve forgotten, so you have no choice but to do it later in the evening or tomorrow
As ridiculous as it sounds, it works. You’ll get a lot of things done by the end of the day.
I used to trap myself in my room and try to be productive but it’s just not effective. My productivity surges when I force myself out of my room to study in public places.
Did you know that J.K. Rowling spent much of her early days in one cafe writing a few novels? You will start to notice that many people actually like to do work in public places because it is very productive for them.
The trick is to get out of your comfort zone.

Revelation of the day!

Once as I was talking with my spiritual director, I had an interior vision-quicker than lightning-of his soul in great suffering, in such agony that God touches very few souls with such fire. The suffering arises from this work. There will come a time when this work, which God is demanding so very much, will be as though utterly undone. And then God will act with great power, which will give evidence of its authenticity. It will be a new splendor for the Church, although it has been dormant in it from long ago. That God is infinitely merciful, no one can deny. He desires everyone to know this before He comes again as Judge. He wants souls to come to know Him first as King of Mercy. When this triumph comes, we shall already have entered the new life in which there is no suffering. But before this, your soul [of the spiritual director] will be surfeited with bitterness at the sight of the destruction of your efforts. However, this will only appear to be so, because what God has once decided upon, He does not change. But although this destruction will be such only in outward appearance, the suffering will be real. When will this happen? I do not know. How long will it last? I do not know. But God has promised a great grace especially to you and to all those…who will proclaim My great mercy. I shall protect them Myself at the hour of death, as My own glory. And even if the sins of soul are as dark as night, when the sinner turns to My mercy he gives Me the greatest praise and is the glory of My Passion. When a soul praises My goodness, Satan trembles before it and flees to the very bottom of hell.
Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, 378

Have you ever asked yourself, How can I stop injustice in the world today? Why are there so many problems in the world? How can we all let this happen? Lets discuss few topics and related ways to solve it.

- Human trafficking gangs earn in excess of 32 billion dollars a year.
- Over 2 million children are still part of the worldwide sex industry.
- AIDS continues to spread around the world, devastating communities.
- Corporate and personal greed continues to drive the rich poor gap higher and higher.

- The use of force against unarmed protesters.
- Women around the world being treated as the property of their male relatives or husbands.
- People around the world turning a blind eye to the problems all around them.

✔Doesn’t make you feel too good about the world when you read all that and realise in some way we are all responsible. But lets stay positive on this and come up with some ways to solve or at least improve these problems. Here’s some things you can do.
- Share these issues, let other people know. People already know about them, but its always good to reinforce ideas.
- Discuss them with friends and family. You’ll be surprised who also cares about these issues.
- Join local protest groups or start your own.
- Pressure governments for change
- Sign petitions online
- Search the web for people with similar ideas.
- Stand up against people who perpetuate these injustices.
- Don’t give in to the corporate world or greed.
- Don’t be seduced by shiny things.

Happiness is when????

Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved. Love is when the other person's happiness is more important than your own. Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life. Friends show their love in times of trouble, not in happiness. Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present. Some days are just bad days, that's all. You have to experience sadness to know happiness, and I remind myself that not every day is going to be a good day, that's just the way it is! Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower and draws all good things towards you. Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices - today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it. Life is full of happiness and tears; be strong and have faith. Every day is a new day, and you'll never be able to find happiness if you don't move on. The secret to happiness is freedom... And the secret to freedom is courage. Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace, and gratitude. The best way to pay for a lovely moment is to enjoy it. Happiness is a choice. You can choose to be happy. There's going to be stress in life, but it's your choice whether you let it affect you or not.

Do you laugh at other people's failures?

I'm the girl who is always there for people when they need a friend. I'm also the girl who faces many issues alone, but will still do anything to see a smile on someone else's face. I don't laugh at other people's failure because I know that I might encounter the same in my near future. So, don't be afraid of being laughed at for failing, fear being old enough and not capable never trying again.

What is the difference between Education and Experience ??

One can easily tell the difference between education & experience. As what is commonly observed in employment applications, employers either look for a prospect employee that has the best education, or the most experience. Often it is the case that they look for both.
Basically, the main separating factor between the two, is the source of knowledge. In regards to education, you will attain knowledge preferably from fine print materials, such as the theory learned through textbooks & the like. Hence, it is what you generally learn at school, knowing that schools primarily employ the book-based system of learning. On the contrary, experience offers knowledge based on any other aspect, other than the sources just mentioned. It is a very broad concept that consists of both knowledge & skills.
Education, in general, is a bigger concept, for it also includes experiences. It is a summation of all processes, of which humans hand over the theory learned from one generation, to the next. Education obtained in schools is specifically termed as schooling. Learning various subjects can help develop effective mental learning in students. You can gain experience by being involved in a certain endeavor, like doing on-the-job trainings, & also by being exposed to related events, like the way you learn the lifestyle of a native tribe by living with them. Having been exposed to various set-ups, a person with great experience can be regarded as an expert of that field, or set-up. That’s why many scientists & philosophers alike, hail experience as the father of all education. It derives knowledge from empirical data. It is something that you can get from using your senses. Hence, the knowledge obtained by experience is accepted as empirical knowledge, although, education also utilizes different teaching modalities that use the senses (auditory learning, visual learning, etc). There are various forms of experiences, which include mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, & many others.
