Is there life on Mars?

Currently, Mars is not suitable for advanced life forms, that being (in a very general sense) plants and animals. One of the main causes of the inability for life is the fact that Mars' atmosphere is about100 times thinnerthan the Earth's, and made up of mainlycarbon dioxide(the very gas that we rid our bodies of every time we breathe out). [https://www.space.com/16903-mars-atmosphere-climate-weather.html] This exposes us to harmful radiation from the sun as well as other deadly phenomenon that our atmosphere protects from here on Earth. It has only been in the past several years that scientists have found evidence of microbial life, and the search will continue until our rovers finally die.
Is there life on Mars

What do you want in life?

Life is the best gift that God has given to every single being in this universe. So, without keeping any hesitation in my mind, I want to tell readers about my demands to Life.
First of all, I want to be HAPPY in Life!!!
I am not talking about external happiness, but the happiness that resides within.
I want to experience the great joy in the eyes of my family members for my achievements.
I want to live my entire life with my parents. I can’t imagine my life without them. I am only because of them.
I want to fulfill each and every wish of my parents.
I want to achieve the success that not only flourishes me but to the entire society where I live.
I want to gain the right knowledge in every phase of my life that guides me in a better living.
I want to see the tears of happiness in the eyes of my loved ones for my achievements in my life.
I want to be an evergreen student of life, where life teaches me about every aspect to lead a wonderful life.
I want my life to be worth notable in this world.
I want to see the world as been developed as a paradise to live within.
I want to WIN each and every GAME of Life that comes as hurdles in my way.
I want my existence to be positively affected in the society.
I want to serve for HUMANITY.
I want a proper balance in my life in terms of health and wealth.
I want to be a source of inspiration for the depressed people of the society.
I want to serve for the nation in the way I am capable to do so.
I want to feel the state of ultimate salvation in my lifetime.
I want to improve each and every single day of my life.
To Discover the purpose of my Life!!
The list is endless. Its the lifetime of an individual that teaches him/her how to live. Character itself gets developed in the course of time. But the one thing that counts ultimately is whether the individual has completed the mission of life or not. If YES, then its great, If NO, then its never late!!
GO AND GET GOING!!!
YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE, LIVE FOR THE WORTH

Life lessons to become a successful person:
The Great Scholar Chanakya said:
1. Success is a PATH,
Not a DESTINATION.
2. Earn a LIVING,
But, don't forget to LIVE,
While you are busy EARNING.
3. Don't let anyone JUDGE YOU,
Not everyone is QUALIFIED ENOUGH.
4. Be sure enough to TASTE YOUR WORDS,
Before you SPIT THEM OUT.
5. Never underestimate your FOES,
Neither underestimate your CAPABILITIES.
6. Those who witness a FAILURE in life are the ones who have SUCCEEDED the first stage in life.
7. Respect is EARNED,
Honesty is APPRECIATED,
Trust is GAINED,
Loyalty is RETURNED.
8. Anger is a BLUNT TOOL,
It won't Hurt your ENEMIES,
However, it will definitely Hurt YOU.
9. Learn from the mistakes of OTHERS,
You can't live long enough to make them all YOURSELVES.
10. Do not be very Upright in your Dealings for you would see by going to the forest that Straight trees are CUT DOWN while crooked ones are LEFT STANDING.
If these lessons can be followed, every individual can become a better person and live a respectful life ahead!

The Ant and the Contact Lens: a true story
Brenda was almost halfway to the top of the tremendous granite cliff. She was standing on a ledge where she was taking a breather during this, her first rock climb. As she rested there, the safety rope snapped against her eye and knocked out her contact lens. ‘Great’, she thought. ‘Here I am on a rock ledge, hundreds of feet from the bottom and hundreds of feet to the top of this cliff, and now my sight is blurry.’
She looked and looked, hoping that somehow it had landed on the ledge. But it just wasn’t there.
She felt the panic rising in her, so she began praying. She prayed for calm, and she prayed that she may find her contact lens.
When she got to the top, a friend examined her eye and her clothing for the lens, but it was not to be found. Although she was calm now that she was at the top, she was saddened because she could not clearly see across the range of mountains.
She Prayed to God: Oh God You can see all these mountains. You know every stone and leaf, and You know exactly where my contact lens is. Please help me.’
A little later, Another set of Hikers reached the top. One of them shouted out, ‘Hey, you guys! Anybody lose a contact lens?’
Well, that would be startling enough, but you know why the climber saw it? An ant was moving slowly across a twig on the face of the rock, carrying it!
The story doesn’t end there…
Brenda’s father is a cartoonist. When she told him the incredible story of the ant, the prayer, and the contact lens, he drew a cartoon of an ant lugging that contact lens with the caption,‘God I don’t know why You want me to carry this thing. I can’t eat it, and it’s awfully heavy. But if this is what You want me to do, I’ll carry it for You.’
Saying: "God, I don’t know why You want me to carry this load. I can see no good in it and it’s awfully heavy. But, if You want me to carry it, I will".
God doesn’t call the QUALIFIED,
He QUALIFIES those He calls!

Student asked to his master “If money doesn't buy happiness, then why do we work so hard to make money?”
Master: Let’s go to kitchen. Today we will cook bitter melon soup.
Master asked his student to prepare 5 bowls of soup. Salt will be in increasing order in each bowl. So, first bowl will not have any salt but last bowl will have more salt.
Master asked his student to taste each bowl.
Student tastes the soup in first bowl.
‘How is it?’ Master asked.
‘Bitter’, student replied. Student was unable to eat a single spoon of soup due to its bitterness.
‘Now taste second bowl’ Master again asked.
‘Little bit better but still bitter’ student replied.
‘Move to next’ Master directed.
‘This one is perfect. It tastes great.” Student replied with joy.
‘Next’ Master ordered.
‘This is again bitter salty’ student replied in disgust.
‘Fifth one’ master finished.
‘Am I permitted to not eat this one because it would be too salty and bitter?’ student requested.
‘But why are we doing this, master’ student added with curiosity.
Master was silent. Only few seconds passed but felt like eternity. All students surrounded master with the curiosity.
“Our life is like this soup. It is bitter in nature. It has its own struggle. It is totally uncomfortable. But money is like salt in this soup. It adds comfort.
Perfect recipe is in third bowl. You should run behind the money but up to an extent when it provides you all the necessary comforts of life. But if you would try to add more salt it will make your life bitter only.”

Any Positive vibes✌🌸?

Just something to think about…
Did you know the people that are the strongest are usually the most sensitive?
Did you know the people who exhibit the most kindness are the first to get mistreated?
Did you know the one who takes care of others all the time are usually the ones who need it the most?
Did you know the 3 most hardest things to say are I love you, I’m sorry, and Help me.
Sometimes just because a person looks happy, you have to look past their smile and see how much pain they may be in or are suffering.
To all my friends who are going through some issues (personal or professional) – need positive intentions right now….

In a mother’s womb were two babies.
One asked the other: “Do you believe in life after delivery?”
The other replied: “Why of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are here to prepare ourselves for what we will ask later.”
“Nonsense” said the first. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
The second said, “I do not know, but there will be more light than here. Maybe we will walk with our legs and eat from our mouths. Maybe we will have other senses that we cannot now understand.”
The first replied, “that is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord supplies nutrition and everything we need. But the umbilical cord is short. Life after delivery is to be logically excluded.”
The second insisted, “Well I think there is something and maybe it’s different than it is here. Maybe we will not need this physical cord anymore.”
The first replied, “Nonsense. And moreover, if there is life, then why has no one ever come back from there? Delivery is the end of life, and in the after-delivery there is nothing but darkness and silence and oblivion. It takes us nowhere.”
The second responded, “Well, I do not know, but certainly we will meet mother and she will take care of us.”
The first said, “Mother? You actually believe in mother? That’s laughable. If mother exists, then where is she now?”
The second said, “She is all around us. We are surrounded by her. We are of her. It is of her that we live. Without her this world would not and could not exist.”
The first said, “Well I do not see her, so it is only logical that she does not exist.”
The second replied, “Sometimes, when you’re in silence and you focus and you really listen, you can perceive her presence, and you can hear her loving voice calling down from above.”

What is the worst thing you have ever done?

owaiskhurshidbhat425’s Profile PhotoOwais Khurshid Bhat
When I was nine, my parents moved into a new school district. I started 4th grade not knowing anyone at a school where all of the children had grown up together. I carried on, determined to make friends.
Strangely, my newcomer status made me an attraction, rather than an outcast. Kids would crowd around me, asking me questions and talking about my life in the city. Unlike my previous school, I actually attained a degree of popularity. I felt special and valued.
There was a boy in my class. He would come to class with baggy hand-me-down clothes, dirt smeared on his cheek. A few times, he came with bruises on his arms and shoulders. This was a bit odd in the tidy-whitey suburban school district that I'd just moved to. Nobody hung out with him, preferring their own devices.
I'd hang out with him sometimes. At that time, I didn't really understand why others ostracized him. Aside from being a bit smellier and dirtier, he seemed like everyone else to me. He'd even call me at home sometimes just to talk. Looking back, sometimes I wonder if I was one of his only friends at that time.
As other children started to accept me, welcoming me to their circles, they used to mock and tease him. At first, I'd just stand there, a bit befuddled. I couldn't understand their distaste for him. Then I saw how much fun they had, and how they urged me to join. I hesitated, then I told them about how he called me at home and a few things that he told me I don't remember the details, but I'm sure these things veered into the personal side. The other kids told me how cool I was. I luxuriated in the praise.
With this information, their teasing reached new heights. They mocked him about his appearance, family life endlessly. They used the information that I'd given them. He'd run away from us, crying. I'd feel guilty until someone high-fived me.

Describe your favourite colour without mentioning it's name. 👀

SaGarSuman’s Profile PhotoSααgαr.
My color is a vibrant, crisp autumn, a fiery bird soaring through a windy, pale blue sky, a path of interwoven leaves crunching beneath your feet.
It is a flame, intense and wild, lapping hungrily at smoldering slash-piles.
It is held between clenched teeth as bodies twirl in unison, a flower of undying passion, of adoration, of eros.
It is clasped in arms as hands entwine, a flower of sweet ignorance, of young love, of a naive hope for a future together.
It is the life that runs through our veins, that drips from our cuts, that seeps from our wounds.
It is the death that stains battlefields, the cure that offers the dying life.
Pain. Longing. Rage. Affection. Fear. Passion. Death. Power. Life. It is all of these words at once.

Your favourite quote? *staif*

"Most of you say you want to be successful, but you don't want it bad. You just kind of want it. You don't want it badder than you want to party. You don't want it as much as you want to be cool. Most of you don’t want success as much as you want to sleep. Some of you want sleep more than you want success. And I'm here to tell you today that if you want to be successful you gotta be willing to give up sleep. You have to be willing to work off of three hours of sleep, two hours of sleep. If you really want to be successful, some day you're going to have to stay up three days in a row because if you go to sleep you might miss the opportunity to be successful. That’s how bad you gotta want it." _ Eric Thomas

Do you like reading ?

I love to read, and I can't imagine going through life not being able to. As for what kind of books I read, I do not really have a particular genre that I stick with. It really depends on my mood, and if I find it interesting. I once had an English teacher state that if you are reading a book , read the first 50 pages. If you can't get into it within that period of time, then perhaps you should move on from it, as you are only torturing yourself . You can always revisit it later if you wish, as we as people always change our perspectives throughout our lives.
In terms of what I read mostly, though, I tend to read fantasy, science fiction, classic literature, epic poetry, biographies, history, anthropological pieces, true crime, light novels, manga, world literature, science, and sometimes religion.
Never limit yourself to a particular genre. Knowledge is power, and even if a 1000 page book may only contain a few grains of truth, you better yourself by learning it.

Do you ever make unfair judgements about people based on the clothes they wear?

Habiteha’s Profile PhotoAM'
There's no other way to perceive a person except compare/contrast to one's own standards. But unfair judgement is far beyond my thoughts.
The way the person dresses or speaks or behaves - this is how the person projects a part of them externally, and this is the only way they can be perceived.
We are unable to get into someone's mind and be there, figuring out this person's inner world.
The first we interact with is that person's manifestation to the external world (all senses), and only then (if and when we like what we see), we can either be drawn to the person or be repulsed by them.
There's nothing wrong with evaluating someone's external appearance since these are the only immediately available clues which we intuitively process - does this person pose a threat to us? Do we like this person? Will this person be a friend? A foe? Does this person follow the accepted rules of current society? Is this person likely to assist us?
Conformity, even with some expression of individualism, will make someone more approachable than a person aiming to rebel against the rules. We all have different preferences, and each article of clothing speaks volumes about what's happening in our internal world.

What would animals say to us if they could talk?

Humans have a tremendous responsibility as stewards of the natural world, and that means listening to those who can’t communicate in words for whatever reason. Several dimensions:
Domestic animals are specifically bred to put up with a lot from humans, so to them we surely are like dictators, providing their food, shelter and opportunities to breed. With large animals though, if youactlike a dictator you’ll get yourself and your animals hurt. All animals have their ways of communicating without words, as any pet owner will tell you.
Wild animals will put up with only so much from us, which is why they’re wild, with varying consequences for our efforts to preserve them. Mostly they’ve learned to avoid humans. However, people who have lived and worked in the wilderness, as well as divers and ocean-going boaters, report plenty of instances of wild animals clearly sharing the moment. One instance where words would help, of course, is when a large animal gets in trouble and humans are trying to help it. Even then rescuers often report the animal seemed to understand and in some cases even sought human help. Animals are very good at sensing the vibes.
Animals rely on body language whether in dealing with their own species or any others, including humans. We all know well enough how words are used to mislead or deceive at least as much as to communicate honestly.
Bottom line: When we listen and learn, animals (and humans) have no need of words. When we won’t listen and learn, it’s not clear how words would help.
Side note: Bashing humans in favor of animals has long been a favorite sport, and it’s certainly a temptation in view of the evidence. But humans are cursed or blessed with powers we can hardly manage, and animals often seem to understand this and want to help. That’s anthropomorphizing of course, but it seems to me we humans too often fail to recognize how much we have in common with the creatures who share the planet.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT A PERSON?

its_jass’s Profile PhotoJassim Naeem
Personally, I somewhat believe in“First impression is the last impression.”
When I first notice an individual, I notice their posture. It says a lot about a person.
Someone who stands up straight, looks forward and not down, is confident. A person who slouches and hangs their head low, shows he/she is uncomfortable, and perhaps gives a vibe that the person is unapproachable and unfriendly.
Smiles as well as a frown are contagious. A person that always carries a smile, carries their most precious accessory. I like people with ready smiles.
And the eyes of course, they reveal a lot.

What do you admire the most

tahatucy’s Profile Photolimrah
I admire people:
Who think differently.
Who have strong principles and dignity.
Who are not easily swayed by temptation.
Who act and think with righteousness.
Who can adopt to circumstances without the need to conform every time.
Who know how to find solutions rather than letting the problems eat them up.
Who are confident enough not to compete with others.
Who are more of a giver rather than a receiver.
Who talk gently but with logic and substance.
Who know how to answer questions skirting from off-topic phrases, slowly directing the flow of thoughts to make the real answer emerge and make sense.
Who are happy to offer something without expecting anything in return.
Who think sarcasm isn't offensive but a form of artistic expression.
Who know how to sublime bad moods into good moods.
Who understand they have flaws and weaknesses which don't make them less of a human nor do they let these things affect them.
Who know laughter is the best medicine. They practice humor and the laugh out loud stuffs to kill sadness.
Who is just like me!

What’s something that you’ve never been able to do well?

owaiskhurshidbhat425’s Profile PhotoOwais Khurshid Bhat
In my eyes I have never perfectly been able to ride a bicycle. I used to learn riding it when I was 8, with one of my cousins. My dad got transferred and we all had to shift to a new place. This happened in the middle stage of my learning process and I had only gained half the confidence. After moving to the new place it wasn't the same as before. It hampered my learning process then. And now I'm 18, and somehow I've learnt how to ride a scooty but I still face the trouble while balancing while driving on the highways!

What’s the biggest lesson life has taught you?

owaiskhurshidbhat425’s Profile PhotoOwais Khurshid Bhat
Life has a way of humbling you.
You don't get out of life what you want. You get out of life who you are.
To get a loan from the bank you need to prove you don’t need a loan.
Everyone is temporary.
Accountability is hard. Blame is easy. One builds trust the other destroys it.
Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world.
Gratitude can magically turn your relationships into joyful and meaningful relationships, no matter what state they are in now. It can miraculously make you more prosperous so that you have the money you need to do the things you want to do.
Don't give up on who you are.
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Don’t wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope.
Don't brag about how much you know, instead teach, coach and mentor others. Don't brag about how busy you are, instead let your work speak for itself. Don't brag about who you know, instead connect like-minded people. Don't brag about the past, instead celebrate the present.
You learn more in losing than you do in winning.
Life is always happening for us, not to us. It’s our job to find out where the benefit is
If you let your learning lead to knowledge, you become a fool. If you let your learning lead to action, you become wealthy.
The face of your greatest enemy might be the face of my finest friend.
Our pain doesn’t come from the love we weren’t given in the past, but from the love we ourselves aren’t giving in the present.
What we give to others, we give to ourselves. What we withhold from others, we withhold from ourselves
A defaulting debtor denies other people opportunities.
Never let life change your name.
If you do not ask, the answer will always be no.
80/20 rule. Most of the people in your life are useless. Less is more.
What you don't use you will lose.

What is the greatest accomplishment of your life ?

Survival; and not just having survived and surviving, but thriving and doing well. To the point those life-death incidents were worth having experienced and endured. Because had those not been endured the opportunities to overcome and adapt would not have occurred.

What literary genre do you like to read the most?

As a child I liked to read fiction, mostly Harry Potter, and even today I’m a huge fan. But after Harry Potter came to an end, I realized I need something different and I’m tired of reading fiction which cannot improve my knowledge. I wanted to learn about life, and I decided to start reading:
Classical literature - because stories are mostly realistic and through them I can learn how to get through problems in my life;
Anthropology books - because I want to understand human nature and learn about many customs and beliefs of different tribes;
Books about religion - but mostly books about mysticism and occult, because I love rituals and to understand their symbolic part;
Books of Israeli writers or about Israel/Jews - Because I’m so into Judaism (mostly Reform) and I’m fascinated how was such a strong country built, also about modern Hebrew language construction because Jews spoke many language back then and couldn’t understand between themselves.
