SM Town is more expensive than SWC?

well, swc was the same price for all seats, but smtown is in a much bigger venue so there are 4 different prices for different level seating.
smtown's floor seating is 110,000won, and the second level center seating is 99,000won, second level side seating is 77,000won and third level seating is 55,000won.
swc tickets were 99,000won for any seat.
so technically, far seats at smtown are cheaper, but since swc3 was in a smaller venue, even the far seats at swc3 weren't too bad. so the price is similar.

oh..u re verryy kind...it s abvious u re such a greeat teacher...oh i envy ur student!!heidii it s realy amazing..as an american s girl u can live alone in another country..it s nt hard?? i used to live with my family..

it's a little hard, but i like it. i'm used to living alone, and i'm not much of a family person, so i miss them but i don't get homesick that often. i feel okay being away from home ^^

I watch it sometimes, but I don't really pay attention to the match-ups and scores. I only like watching it if I'm with people who really enjoy it because then I can see their reactions LOL If i'm with someone who's really excited it would make me more excited too XDDD

Do you think SMTOWN would be worth it for those of us that don't live in Korea? I mean like, artists never seem to have solo concerts in places outside of Asia much so if it's the only resort then is it worth it? Overall, I listen to most SM artists anyway so I think I'd enjoy it (cont.)

You said you'd be going mostly for SHINee, but you like all SM so I think SMTown would be good for you. Especially if you've never seen kpop or SHINee before. SMTown 2012 was my first kpop concert! ^^ My seat was awful, so it wasn't that great to be honest. So you should make sure you get a great seat if you go haha.
And yeah I wouldn't get my hopes up for an SWC in your area yet...they're not ready to do solo artist concerts in North America (I'm assuming that's where you're from? XD). But judging from them going to South America so much lately, I think maybe by the next concert it might happen?? Maybe..????
Anyway if you really cannot come to Korea or Asia, SMTown would be your best chance for now ^^; and I do think you would enjoy it, anyway.

ah, I totally understandI tried reading japanese fics once (smut even) and I was like.... im too bad for this /cries

hahaha yeahhh i just stare at all the text and like, just so confused. and the level is really high, just lots of vocab and grammar that i don't know yet. i'm not super great at korean so it's just hard in general ><

so fics are really hard to find huh? :C did u read any ? ** JK of course >D

haha yessss i have a few korean jongkey fics saved on my computer but i haven't read most of them. reading literature or stuff like dialogue in korean is really hard if you never have before. so i'm trying to read the fics to improve my korean a bit but it's going slow for now XD

abt the chicken: I dunno if it was special? it was called "tender chicken" at the frypan restaurant it was served with potatoecrips? it was so freaking awesome TT

hmm i don't think i've ever heard of anything like that but it sounds awesome!! i'll keep a look-out for it ^^ thanks!

hiiii heidiii how re u?? xd

i'm good! XD i woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep because i had cramps, but i took painkillers and feel better now lmao

What's your opinion about SM Town? Is a good show?

yes it is! if you're a fan of SM then you'll love SMTown, of course ^^ but...if you're a fan of ONLY one group, or maybe two, then it might not be worth it for you. each group is equally represented, but since there's so many, everyone only gets to perform like 3 songs max, plus a little extra special stages sometimes. so if you only went to see SHINee and don't care about the other groups, you'd be very bored most of the time, and SMTown concerts are super long, like 3~4 hrs i think?
but definitely if you're a general fan of SMent (like me) then you would love it~

Hi! Been following you for idk how long but it's always fun to see your tweets^^ and I heard you're going back to US? ;(

aw thank you! ^^ i'm glad you don't think i'm boring haha cuz i think i'm boring XDDD
yup i gotta go back to usa at the end of august T_T

Okay thanks alot i will ask you in twitter let me get the basic of language first then i will tweet you ^_^

haha ok! :)

First: high five then for JK >D im addicted to them its horribly beautyful. Also aah I see...I talked to a korean friend abt shipping and she meant well there are fics, and mostly member/member too ( I asked if its popular to write OCs stuff there but she said no and I was relieved) thanks!!!

yeah there are lots of korean fics! not as much as in english though hahah and they can be hard to find. not so simple and open like english fics are, korean fics usually must be downloaded to your computer for you to read them, and there aren't really complete websites for it like there are for us. only people's blog posts.

ohh yeah i rmember those rumors... i thought the rumored comeback was lucky star tho lol :B but honestly its been a while i feel like they shld come back soon >.> lets hope for the best!!

when I was in SK i totally fell in love with their tender chicken... It was kinda expensive at the frypan restaurant but I loved it....did u try it?

is that a specific type of chicken? O: I'm not sure what you're referring to but I love chicken so I bet I'd love it hahaha

what is one of your fav ballad in shinee? like i know shinee is the king of ballad even tho they're RnB X)

My favorite SHINee ballad...oh no...this is hard!! I can't pick just one, but...I have to say it's either Quasimodo or The Reason. T~T <33333
(but I absolutely live for SHINee's R&B ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ)

Hello heidi -^^- do you frequently listen to jonghyun's blue night? What do you think of jonghyun being a radio dj and do you think he's good at it? What's your opinion on the 'whole' blue night radio? Thanks! -^^-

I listened to Blue Night for the entire first week, but then I got lazy. I'm super lazy, I'm not really good at doing stuff like watching korean shows or listening to radio shows XDDD I don't even watch weekly music shows often, even if SHINee performs (cuz usually I can see them myself in person lmao).
But I do see people talking about tv shows and radio shows so I know what's going on sometimes. And I really love Blue Night! I think Jonghyun loves it too. He's waited a long time to get a chance like this, to do something he loves and talk about his favorite topics with special guests. He's even getting chances to showcase his work and spreading his name and fanbase among people who aren't even SHINee fans! ^^ I'm so happy for him and I hope he continues Blue Night for a long time.

I read you love JongKey couple QQ yeeeah~~~ is JK couple popular in SK?

I do love them~!!! haha. and rly all couples aren't popular here in korea. some ppl ship pairings but it's a lot less common than overseas. even when korean fansites are for two members, it's usually not a "couple site". those couple fansites and fanbases are always from overseas fans. fans scream for jongkey a lot when they interact, but they also scream the same when any member interacts with any other member haha kshawols just like seeing shinee be close ^^

I want to learn Korean & Japanese language could you help me with the korean if you have time?? if you don't it's okay ^__^

I could help if you want! If you have any questions just ask :) or if you want to chat in Korean, you can tweet at me ^^

Hye heidi~ can i ask this? How are k-shawols reactions when they knew tht exo suho/d.o will prtcpate in jjongs cmposition 4 BN? It just seems tht I-shawols really2 hate it (including me) hmm..or else how did u react wth this news? ><

ok to be honest I don't really know what's going on with this...>_<;; I've been busy on a trip so I missed some news. Are they performing his songs? If performing, I don't like that. I bet kshawols don't like it either. ofc shawols all want to hear our Jonghyun sing his own songs. But if suho and d.o are just introducing them or sth, that's ok i guess...but i'm still confused cuz idk exactly what's going on...?

comeback in/after august? :oo why do u think that... i think i wont be in sk anymore tho ㅠㅠ

There were rumors that SHINee was supposed to come back this summer, but it looks like it might get pushed back. They were supposed to come back around July-August but now it might be September unless something magical happens and they can come back in Aug...if it's August, I have a chance to see them again T_T so i hope...

You learned Korean by yourself right? How you advice who wants to start learn? What can help in terms of writing and speaking? Thank you ^^

Yeah, all by myself :) when I first started learning, the only way I was able to practice was to listen to kpop and talk to Korean people using online pen-pal sites. It was really fun :) But even though my reading and writing got very good from years of practicing, it was only by writing emails and reading Korean online so I had no skills in speaking and very little in listening because I don't watch many k-dramas or tv shows. So when I went to university and finally met Korean people in real life (no Koreans where I'm from lol), I still couldn't speak Korean with them because I was too shy. My reading and writing were so good, so when I was unable to speak even simple things (not pronunciation, but speed of thought, putting grammar together correctly without seeing it in writing), I got frustrated. I knew I was better than that, and I didn't want to show a bad side of myself, so I was shy and refused to speak Korean. It wasn't until I moved to Korea that I was able to really practice speaking, starting from being forced to use it in daily situations like at restaurants, stores, banks, etc. I improved a lot faster than I thought I would, and my speaking skill caught up with my other skills quickly.
So, the point of that story is DON'T BE SHY!! XDD don't mess up like me! Really the only way to improve speaking is to talk to native speakers. If you can't meet/find anyone where you live, you can use pen-pal or language exchange websites to meet people who want to do language exchange via Skype :)
For writing, the best thing would be to write a LOT, and maybe have a Korean person correct it for you. That's why I liked having Korean pen-pals. You could also keep a daily journal/diary in Korean. Even if it's only one sentence per day, that sentence will help. Eventually you can make yourself use new grammar and vocabulary that you've learned, and you'll be able to write more and more. It will help a lot!
