Onew‘s so sweet and handsome q_q Also i read that Jonghyun did the same but the lightstick ended on the cheaper seats(? Maybe u didn't heard that bc Chile is irrelevant Lmao, but i hope Shinee to come againㅠ it seems hard but ppl in my country are trying to have a SMTown here hahah. *stans all sm*

i think kpop is soooo popular in south america now, right? shinee's tour there was very successful, and super junior went to south america before too. sm definitely knows that the fanbase there is large, so maybe there will be an smtown there this year!! if not this tour, then very soon ^^ and since shinee and suju were so successful i'm sure they'll be back :)

For SWC3 tour they traveled to South America, I'm from Chile btw. I didn't attended it bc i was sick;; i read in a chilean Fanacc that Onew took a lightstick from a fan (lucky ㅠㅠ) and he threw it so hard that the lightstick hit the roof of the Stadium XD I wanted u to know but sorry for random q_q

haha!! thanks for sharing! i never heard that story XD onew is so great isn't he...he always throws the lightsticks and stuff SO FAR!!! hahaha. he did that at swc3 in seoul too! but it didn't hit the roof, he just threw it so it went really far near the back rows LOL

I'm really confused about using "you" formally. I know Korean likes to leave out pronouns often but I've always heard that 당신은 isn't used much. Once, I was writing a formal sentence and wanted to include "you" but I wasn't sure if 당신은 was right. I know 너 is informal but it seems more natural to use.

yes, 당신 means something like "dear". it's not used very commonly, but it's used a lot in songs to get across the feeling of talking to someone beloved. a more common way to address someone in a formal sentence would be to say 님 or 씨. it's much more respectful in korean to say someone's name than to use a pronoun like the word "you".

But anyway, it seems like SHINee wants a lot of freedom for their fans that they can't always give due to company (I also understand safety) reasons, wouldn't you agree?

yes!! shinee's bond with their fans is very strong. sm is quite strict about idol/fan interaction, so that makes it a bit hard on us. but i know shinee would want to give us whatever we wanted if they could!
and yeah, all of those times when they can be so trusting of their fans are so heartwarming. many people cried when jonghyun let the fans touch his face at the concert. the fans were all worried for him and some fans told him to go back, but he stayed because he's so trusting of us. and the fans were very good to him. that bond is special. i'm pretty sure other large fandoms can't do that.
for example, when exo walked into the fan area at their smtown week concert, their faces looked very nervous and their bodies were stiff, even though they weren't letting fans near them and there were bodyguards. i don't really blame them, though...because they haven't had time to be able to build a trusting relationship with their fans yet. i think back when shinee and their fans were younger, shinee would be the same way. exo's fans are very passionate and caring, but they can be wild. and many other popular groups are the same, like infinite. shinee's fans are much older (even though infinite has been around a long time, their fanbase is still very young, aimed towards gradeschool kids, like elementary and middle schoolers. shinee's fans are generally much older and typically high school and college age). this makes shinee fans calmer. so while we lose when it comes to yelling fanchants or participating in online voting, we win the trust and respect of our idols because we are typically a very calm fandom. i've heard that shinee world is one of the most calm fandoms out there, and the PDs of every show always love having shawols around. i've heard us being praised at music shows, they say we listen well and are quiet and respectful.
so i know shinee would do anything for us and let us be close more often if they could. it's just sm that is very strict ^^;
i never heard that about jonghyun wanting to follow fans on twitter...hahaha but i totally believe it. he would love that so much. he'd follow all of his own fansites XDDDDD i wish he could. maybe someday they will have that freedom. super junior has a lot more freedom when it comes to stuff like sns. i think sm is keeping a tighter leash on shinee on purpose. but maybe in a couple years we can see changes.
either way, i'm still really happy and proud of our boys for being so trusting of us ^^ i'm proud of us too. shinee + shawols forever~ ♥

-c- ran up to the fans and hugged them, and the staff told fans not to take pictures in that parking garage but J told them to continue, etc. I also heard Jonghyun say he wanted to follow fans on Twitter but SM doesn't let him.

.

Would you say that SHINee's an idol group that has one of the strongest "bonds" (or I guess trust) with their fans? It sounds to me like, if it weren't for staff, SHINee would be all for giving hugs and taking pictures and such with fans at events. Also, there was that whole thing with SHINee -c-

.

you're welcome! ≧▽≦ (p/s: you're pretty too!)

p__p YOU SAW ME~!?!?! haha omg but thank you~~ ^////^ <3

do you have any good yaoi vids to recommend? o u o;; I feel so embarrassed ㅋㅋ I cant seem to find good ones

i don't have any videos p___p i used to read yaoi manga but it's been a longlonglong really long time so i don't really have any recommendations for those either DX omg. sorry~ ;_;

I'm not a smtown stan nor a shinee fan, but it's kinda heartwarming to see you answering everyone's doubt (not those typical few lines answer) kudos to you!! :D ((okay don't mind me ~.~))

awww D: thank you so much!! i really appreciate the message! ^^ <3 you brightened my day

i'm curious about jonghyun's smell hahah i think he smell so gooooood ;^; Like a businessman lol but Jonghyun is sexy so if you add that to a Calvin Klein smell then we have a Zeus.

I'm curious too!! LOL unfortunately, i've never been able to smell them. i've never hugged them or anything XD but i'm sure they wear really nice cologne and stuff T~T i heard that jonghyun wore the same type for many years. i bet he smells like a god hehe ;___;

Heidi-ah I'm confused ;; hope u can answer. What's the difference between 저는 & 나는 bc both have meanings with "I" right?

yes, they both mean "I" :) the only difference is that 저 is a little bit more polite than 나. if you're talking to a close friend, you can use "나는..." but if you're talking to a coworker or stranger, anyone older than you, you should use "저는..." to show respect.

btw what is the time period (to buy albums) for the fansign before they choose the selected ppl? is it a few days?

after the buying period is over, the winners will usually be announced within one day, and it's usually the night before the fansign, very late at like 10pm. so you really don't have much time to mentally prepare or prepare gifts for them. it's kind of difficult.
thanks for the good question! i have to add that to the blog post later :)

post a selfie

i post them on twitter sometimes ^^; go through my pics on there and keep an eye out.

how daes key & jonghyun in real life? is he manly or girly?

in real life, key is soooo manly. he's very manly and sexy. very tall, big broad shoulders, huge hands and long fingers. in real life, he looks a LOT more big and manly than he does on screen. seriously. i still get shocked sometimes, it takes my breath away.
jonghyun though...he's manly, because he has broad shoulders too, and a good amount of muscle, but he really is short XD poor guy. like super short. i think he's just above my height hehe. and VERY SKINNY. i feel like i could grab around his entire waist with one hand. >___> he's just...literally pocket-sized hehehehe but he's very handsome and it's not exactly girly, he's just small.

Woah! U did really well >.< Explained it step by step and detailed. I'm so envy with you. I hope I can also meet them through fansign someday ㅠㅠ

thank you ^^ i hope you can meet them too!! it's possible :) if i can do it, anyone can do it. you need lots of luck! so, good luck!!!!!

maybe other people already ask this but, what is the best way to learn korean language by yourself (bcs my mom will not allow me to take korean course so i need to learn by myselfㅠㅠ)? i know the meaning of some words but i couldnt understand the number thing and sometimes i forget to write some word

just don't give up ^^ i've never taken classes for korean either, i studied everything on my own. it takes a long time, many years. i used online resources like korean-learning websites and pen-pal/language-exchange websites, and i bought many books about korean, beginner korean books. in the beginning, it seems really difficult. so just don't give up and try your best to learn a little each day. fighting!! ^^

Hey Heidi! Are we allowed to ask for a hug or something during fansign? :)

no. technically, shinee is not supposed to touch the fans. if you ask for even a handshake, the staff will stop them before they can do it. and the staff even pushes fans back if they lean too far over the table. you aren't allowed to be too close to them. i asked key for a handshake once, and the staff stopped him, and there's even a fansite photo of the >_< face he made when he told me "sorry.." XD (it's here: http://cfile3.uf.tistory.com/original/26040945519091292D395A )
the members always want to please the fans, so they want to give handshakes to everyone when they ask, it's the staff who stops it. so if the staff isn't right behind them, they can sometimes get away with it quickly. i've gotten two handshakes from jonghyun at fansigns :) but a hug is definitely out of the question :( even at a high touch when they're standing up. they don't give hugs or let you take photos or selcas with them. the only way to do that is to be lucky at a very special event or situation.

정말 운이 하하> <나는 항상 가고 싶어했습니다.

오오ㅠㅠ 예, 근데 갈수있어요 노력하면~~ㄱㄱ

When I was in Korea/take photos at concerts here in the states that don't allow DSLRs I would completely surround stuff with tampons or pads. worked for me. I also did that skirt trick you mentioned. Quite easy to sneak cameras in.

yeah it's like a real skill LOL i admire people that can do that. i'm not serious enough about taking photos, so i usually just give up and forget it.

Just curious how and where do u hide huge cameras? Hehe

omg. it's a special art that i have not mastered lmao. i know that sometimes girls wear long skirts and hide their cameras strapped to their legs, or hide them inside large coats or jackets when the weather is cooler. i'm not sure really, the girls that do this are very sneaky and pros at what they do >__< i'm always just amazed.
