hmm….. not judge lah. When I first posted the set of photos of me in the lingerie ad with the fur coat, I was already expecting someone from my family to question me sometime, somewhere. But apparently not…. my mother thinks its nicely done so she's fine! also gotta thank god for the fact that she has been exposed to all these while in the advertising industry and design field last time so not too bad…my dad being bait more protective over me because I was such a daddy's girl until I feel like I'm his sibling now…I FEEL THAT OLD was abit concerned when my mother told him. But he didn't ask me or anything which he would have, in the past but he respect my art directions and my life as an adult enough to be totally fine with it too. Not to mention, if he hadn't been in the graphic design field alike my mother, my head would've been on the chopping board. I think…hahahaas for my aunts and uncles, they are totally cool with it because they've always been more like cousins to me than anything else and basically, everyone in my family who matters to me, respect me, my lifestyle, my jobscope and art directions enough to not interfere. I've always been very thankful for my parents especially my mother who has always been the advisor and encouragement for me. Even with that set of photos in lingerie, she can tell me that she actually thinks it's nice and tastefully done is really more than I can ask for. & no, my parents are not usually the super open minded kind just to keep things fair. I wasn't allowed to go to escape theme park when I was primary 6 because my dad was afraid I would fall off the ride-.- and I wasn't allowed to have stay overs at my friends' houses until god knows when. They only released the ledge like last year when they finally saw me being an adult. So yes. It's actually not about your aunt being old fashioned or what. My parents look young, are young (younger than most parents who have kids my age) but they definitely have the mentality of a 50 year old in the past when I was still a kid. Even my grandmother was more open about certain stuff in the past. I guess, for your case it is probably because your aunt haven't seen the ability in you to protect yourself should anything happen when you're in the short apparel?? It's a total different thing when you take a photo with that short skirt or shorts, whatever you're referring to and when you actually wear it out. esp so in singapore. the photo is 2d. but you wearing that and exposing yourself to the public in that unguarded brings about a lot more potential danger than you thought it would. & like the saying goes, it's all for your own good. HAHA i sound like a nag but really, she means well for you. Maybe you just assure her by wearing a safety shorts inside or wearing a longer cardigan or whatever to cover the spots she deem as indecent. Unless of cos, she is overboard then that, I cannot help you already. I sound like a counsellor…..wts is happening. I'm only 20.I speak like a 40
