Purity test? What are you talking about? It's about doing what's right. And if you're anti bullying then you don't elevate a bully like meghan murphy or at least state that I prefer talking to people that don't purposely & constantly misgender trans folk? Is this a hard concept for you? No standards

talking=/=elevating or agreeing. like i said, i'll talk to anyone, no matter how heinous you may find them. that's not a moral wrong in my book. sorry.

I know you're always going identify as a feminist, but it sounds like you're going the direction of Christina Hoff Sommers, who identifies as a feminist, but is nothing like most feminists, and is more like anti-feminists. Will that be you? Also, what do you think of Christina Hoff Sommers?

i'm not familiar enough with her work. i saw her on rubin and disagreed with her a lot. *shrug*

Is it just me or isn't exhausting after meeting with your therapist? The pouring out of emotions and the vulnerability you need to practice and exhibit must be done, in order for therapy to work. I need a nap.

it can definitely be draining. but over time i find it gives me more energy, not less.

Ever since I started to defend your choices I have been called transphobic, & told I was "slut-shaming" when pointing out the hypocrisy of the peope attacking you. I really do want to be able to talk to you one day but it's super hard to get a hold of you. ;w;

i'm sorry babe. they just say stuff like that to try to shut you up. you can always email me. i wish i could respond to everything but i can't keep up. dont h8 me pls. :(

In an earlier post, u stated that u disliked terfs.Yet you're cozy w/meghan murphy now. She's a TERF that constantly & purposely misgenders trans people. You wonder why people don't trust you or your intentions. Do optics not mean anything to you? Next you'll be friends w/richard spencer(alt-right).

you guys just really hate talking to people who don't meet your purity test, don't you? i'll talk to literally anyone. it doesn't mean i endorse their ideas.

Were you ever told to take a position you didn't have or make your stance more hardline when you worked for MTV? Your persona on that show seemed different from how you present yourself on your own channel.

not really. but there were many more people involved. could never be as authentic as on my own channel. that's part of why i moved on.

are you not answering all questions but selecting which ones to answer? i've asked a couple of different ones without a response. hope you're doing okay and taking care of yourself!

thanks beb. i'm doing alright. i basically just answer whatever is newest on here (and not spam or divided over multiple posts) when i log in. i have about 850 questions in the back catalog though.

Since leaving Mormonism are you still a strong atheist? Meaning do you look at the universe and existence as purely material or do you have any spiritual beliefs?

my strongest inclination is that life on earth is a beautiful cosmic accident. the only spiritual side of that for me runs in a humanist vein. i think human morality peaks when we take care of each other and the earth. i don't believe in heaven or hell. i don't believe in reincarnation, but i do see my physical body as rejoining with the earth and completing the cycle of life when i die. i take comfort in that thought.

Hey Laci, I've got this "SJW" friend who recently said he couldn't remain friends with people who disagree with him politically. He's already given me shit for watching Youtubers like shoe0nhead, Blaire, and Chris. I really wanna stay friends but is it worth trying with these people?

i think it's worth trying. just be patience. you might ask him if he can accept your political disagreements. come to a mutual understanding that like hey, we might not agree on everything, but we're gonna keep it respectful cuz we care about this friendship, and politics are not the only reason we're tight.

I am sorry for what you're going through from what people who are supposed to be your friends just because you're dating an anti sjw and you dared to be open minded Do you think this experience will cause you to stop being a feminist or a supporter for social justice?

it's alright. shit happens. i will always be a feminist, even if it means defining it differently than most people. it's about gender equality for me, none of this crazy nonsense.

Do you have any clue where the "alt-right", "white supremacist" perception of Chris Ray Gun even comes from? Maybe? I haven't seen all his videos but uh, I'm a little lost. Seems pretty liberal and chill so far. Other than wanting to die all the time.

yup he's a p r e t t y c o o l g u y. he has good values. i wouldn't date a fucking white supremacist, like what the fuck? lol. my understanding is that this comes from kat blaque, who spread rumors about him being a racist and transmisogynist after a twitter misunderstanding. something about chris posting a tweet of hers that had been cropped without his knowing, then apologizing to her and removing it when he found out he had it wrong. kat's retelling was then picked up by the feministsphere online, without anyone bothering to look into what actually happened because they see chris as one of those ~anti-sjw monsters~. and that's all it takes to be a "white supremacist" online, i guess. it may also be a way to manipulate & guilt me out of dating him.

A different topic from the norm, but I'm interested in hearing your take: Opinion on the whole Evergreen College thing, including them possibly losing public funding?

i am a little confused about what happened at evergreen. the videos were whack as hell. from what i gathered, a student group asked white people to leave campus and when some professors didn't (bc they're teaching...), people lost their shit and called for teachers to get fired, screamed at them, physically threatened them, for being racist. if that's the geist, it's nuts. i don't understand how their campus anti-racism activists thought this would be a productive and not-totally-divisive way of having an important conversation about race. these aggressive approaches do so much damage to the dialogue, in this case it reached the national level. what does this accomplish? truly. it's identity politics o u t o f c o n t r o l.
don't think this warrants losing funding over tho.
