Any idea how to get both sides, Extreme feminists (Only women are oppressed), and the extreme Men's rights groups to talk to each other. After watching The Red Pill Film recently I came to the conclusion if they both just sat in a room and listened to each other they want the same thing.

i think there are many fems/anti-fems who do want the same thing, more or less. and there are also many who fundamentally disagree with each other. i can't speak for anyone but me. i personally prefer more communication instead of less, but that's hard because 1) there's a lot of hurt here 2) sometimes it regards people's humanity, which feels unfair to "debate" 3) ppl suck at listening.

New to Site apologise if my first attempt worked and this is duplicate. Have you see The Red Pill Documentary? If so what do you think of it and the attempts to get it banned? If not do you intend too? (IMO you need to see it)

Barry Wright
i have seen it. i thought it was interesting. have people tried to ban it? smh. i am anti censorship.

Not a question, but I wanted to let you know that you have meant a lot in my development as a person. For that I thank you. Sending you much love. Keep being you ❤

that means a lot to me. lots of love ❤️

When debating anti-feminists, women's issues are generally trivialized or ignored entirely. In your experience have any anti-fems you've talked to acknowledged the myriad issues that women experience in their lives?

the hand full of anti-fems that i am friends with do acknowledge it, although there is some minimization at times.

When feminists say that men/boys should be taught not to rape, what exactly are they expecting teachers/parents to say? I can't personally think of anything that could be taught outside of the fact that it's bad to rape and showing how it can destroy someone's life. Curious to hear what you think!

in my book, it refers to a few things, speaking off the cuff here:
1) healthier messaging about sex. for boys: you don't need to fuck all the time to be a "real man". for girls: your body belongs to you, and you deserve to be treated with respect.
2) teaching greater respect for women's sexual agency (you can find her hot but you still need to show decency and respect and get consent before engaging her sexually/not treating women like a piece of meat)
3) age appropriate consent (if someone doesn't wanna be hugged, you don't hug them, etc)
i also think talking about what to do if a friend is doing something harmful (bystander intervention) is important

You said you dislike Bill Maher being an islamophobe. Why do you think that? And have you ever spoken to an ex muslim about islam to understand the issues Maher brings up?

i said the criticism i've seen levied at bill is that he's an islamophobe, not that i agree with him or the criticism. i'm iranian and half my family is muslim, so i have a decent grasp.
