3months ago, my ex and I broke up. I'm coming to realize how bad she was for me (really controlling and demanding). she also cheated on me twice, and I forgave her both times. I find myself battling whether or not I should start to emotionally break ties or try to come to terms. your thoughts?

i think it depends on what you're most comfortable with. when someone treats you poorly, it's completely fair to determine that it's healthier for you to walk away. i usually do. EXCEPT when there's a sincere apology and promise to change (with proof of such). otherwise there's just no trust and understanding to build a relationship/friendship on. it becomes toxic.

Is Chris still friends with sargon? If so are you seriously comfortable dating a guy who is not only pals with but also thinks that the guy who repeatedly claimed that you faked your sexual assault and that your ideology lead to Eliot Rodger is smart and good? Do you respect yourself at all?

i def have no self respect. that's why i bow to the idiotic condescension and accusations of guilt-by-association from strangers on the internet.

I get not being able to tell women what to do with their bodies in regard to abortion, but don't you think that if the woman has an out the man also deserves one? Just seems wildly unfair that one gender has all of the choices and one gender has absolutely zero say in what could be 18 years of pay.

it's biology babe. that's just the bottom line. because of biology, if you're a male and don't want a kid u gotta use a condom. it's simple, no?

Well for one there's the red pill doc that you saw, they downplay male DV, they silence men's thoughts on abortion who were heartbroken by a gf or wife getting one and tell them they're basically not allowed to have an opinion on it, also the rhetoric of men needing to be taught not to rape.

i don't see it the same way, to me the dv point came across pretty strong. i also don't think it's a "mans right" to tell a woman what to do with her body. like wtf? think about what that implies. it's not his b o d y y y y. that is the kind of stuff that gives MRM the reputation of being misogynists.

Please try and convince and encourage the YouTube feminists to have public discourse with the antifems. If I had something to say, it would be "I understand your frustrations, you don't have to talk to them, but #notall."

i have made the suggestion (extensively in my 2nd vid) but i don't think anyone needs to engage if they don't want to.

thoughts on kat blaque calling you "white feminism" and that entire concept

white feminism refers to not being intersectional. as a concept, i think it's valid and important to be aware of it. i don't personally use the term because it centers around identity shaming rather than addressing the specific idea. in this context, responding to critique of feminist censorship with "white feminism" (or other identity-based arguments) is a non-response that doesn't address the argument.

Is there science behind non binary genders?

yeah, it's encompassed conceptually in research on gender identity.

I just wanted to say, I think the journey you've been on is admirable. I hope people can learn from your path and start the self-examination many of them desperately need, I hope you find that you're an inspiration for the right people now and I wish you the best of luck moving forward.

thank u mdear. ?

Will you do more to publicly call out extremist on the anti side? It seems like part of the hate you're getting (though unfair) is due to feminist extremism being called out while the abusive behavior of antis isn't

i've spent literally 10 yrs calling it out and have close to 1000 videos online. tho not calling out individual people (not my style), but the harmful ideas they espouse.

Can you tell me why I frequently hear feminists only speaking negatively about men and constantly shame people who try to fight for men's issues? It's part of what made me not a feminist anymore.

idk, i don't really see the man hate that people tell me about, just like a general demonization of anyone who has privilege. shoot me some examples.

What's your favorite tea? Do you prefer loose leaf or satchel? Sorry I'm asking so many questions. I've always found you fascinating.

aw. i like both! i am currently into harney & sons Paris, which are satchels.

Is the shit from people like Kat Blaque putting you off calling yourself a feminist? I'll be honest with the way people are reacting to you having actual conversations with people, I'm beginning to feel a little uncomfy saying im a feminist, I always will be 100% but it is getting a little harder

IMO we can't let the fringe crazies define feminism for us.

Do you expect any others from the feminist side to follow what you've done and start conversing? (Also I think you're a pretty great person for this and among other things, sorry that a bunch of idiots are running your name through the mud over this.)

no worries. i dont mean to be dramatic here - but i came in to this prepared to lose my livelihood, my friends, everything. and its all been accurate. as such, i don't expect people (esp extremists) to change. too much dogma.

Whose reactions, on both sides of the spectrum, have surprised you the most in a positive way and a negative way?

i'm surprised by the antis, who have been open minded and respectful even in dissent. i wish i were surprised by youtube's feminist sphere but... :|
