I randomly asked my bf what happens to us if I get preggers. He said "abortion" immed. It hurt me a lot but I get where he's coming from, early 20s, -$ and all... But still.. :'( Idk what to think right now.
In all sense, you know it's the 'logical' thing to do in a way. But you just want to feel like you're 'the one' to him and good enough to salvage for and settle down with rightttttt ^^
There's rlly two side to this coin actually. Some may consider branching out into family now will only let the kid suffer without financial abilities and everything. They will be restricted from even fulfilling their own future aspirations and dreams. And they want to get married because of love, on their own terms, not hurriedly largely because - 'diaokia'.
Abort is better, they'd think. Till I can stabilize.
Another would think that, it's a life, and it's the fruit/child of me and the one I love. The child will have our features. No matter how hard I gotta work, I will work for my child, with 'the one' in my life anyway, I will still be happy, I'm over the 'play hard phase' alrdy anyway. We are gg to make this work.
It all boils down to if he's financially and mentally ready. You cannot fault your bf this way... Guess he's not yet :) But what you can think about, is if he's lazy, passive on his ass all day long, just spend his $ all away drinking etc, and not working towards his goals. Otherwise up till 50 he's gonna be always non-financially ready. Or if you 2 have similar home-building and lifestyle ideals.
