omfg i love your mini essays on here

thanks!! (❁´◡`❁) i like writing them, too. even tho i sit here going "oh no, i'm such a tin-hatter, I AM THE DELU FANGIRL READING INTO THINGS TOO FAR!!"
then i remember i've already written fic where oppas do the sexual and in comparison the mini-essays seem not as weird lmao

i have a lot of feelings about woogyu pt. 2

that said, i do think they are friends -- both of them are physically affectionate with each other and openly dote on each other all the time, haha. i find it very hard to believe that they don't like each other when woohyun does dumb stuff like wink at sunggyu on stage in the middle of a performance, or when sunggyu pretty consistently insisted in his solo promos he thinks woohyun would be a good solo artist and that he missed singing with woohyun. but honestly, right now i see them as partners first and foremost, friends second. and i don't think there's anything wrong with that! i think that at the point in their lives that infinite is not The Main Priority in both of their lives (which, knock on wood, will hopefully not be for a long while yet) that their relationship would very naturally gravitate towards a close friendship. it might be different from how their relationship is now, but i cannot see the two of them drifting apart.
a good summary of my feelings on this relationship might be this: i once mentioned off-handedly on twitter that i kinda want to write an au fic where woohyun and sunggyu start dating purely because it's the most convenient thing for them to do (similar fields of work, live near each other, might even be friends-with-benefits already?) and while that part of dating comes easily to them, the emotional part of the relationship just isn't something that comes naturally to them, and they kinda just hang in there hoping someday it will.
(i leave the idea open-ended because what if someday i actually do write this, haha... tho if you've read this far you probably have some insight into the kind of ending /i'd/ want for it!!)
i feel like i've already typed A Lot already, so i'm gonna... stop now.... ヽ(;▽;)ノ i love talking about these things probably more than i should...

what do you think of woogyu??? their r/s as friends, bandmates etc

oh gosh, i think their relationship is super interesting!! from the outside looking in, i see a lot of layers to their relationship, some of which overlap and some of which are firmly separated from each other, if that makes sense.
one thing that really made a lasting impression on me (and i think a lot of other ppl as well, when discussing woogyu) is that sesame player relationship where hoya says something like, "sunggyu wouldn't have been friends with woohyun if they hadn't ended up in the group," with the implication that sunggyu just... didn't like woohyun, haha. but nowadays, i think most people would agree that sunggyu really trusts woohyun especially with infinite-related stuff. even though they're very different as people, they share that, and i think that really makes the difference.
the thing i'm not sure about is how much sunggyu and woohyun trust each other re: their personal lives. i think either would be 110% confident in leaving infinite in each others' hands, and both of them really respect each other as singers. but we don't really get to see them outside of infinite, so obviously it's hard to talk about what goes on behind closed doors, haha. nevertheless, i still have Opinions on that, so i'll just go ahead and say them anyway :'D
i've already said some of my thoughts on sunggyu and his idol image (or lack there of), so i'll leave it at sunggyu doesn't really care much for it. like, i remember once somebody requested for him to do his screamo thing (which he used to do with his solo perfs of because) on immortal song(?? i think) and he was just like "no, i don't want to do that anymore." and it was like LMAO SUNGGYU what kind of idol does that, seriously.
on the other hand -- and this is where this post starts getting tin-hatty and i worry that i'm totally self-projecting on woohyun (oops) so feel free to take this with a grain of salt -- i think woohyun is an idol who really, really tries to project a very idol-like image. whether or not he manages it is a different story, but i honestly do feel that way about him. i think he's genuine when he says stuff about how much he values inspirits and fans, but his fanservice is very... over-the-top? kind of blatantly fanservice at times? so there's obviously going to be some friction between them because of that, because they fundamentally seem to value different things. and i'm not sure how well they would be able to emotionally support each other because of how different they are. i don't think either are well-equipped for that in the first place (I LOVE THEM BOTH, they're my infinite biases, but lbr if i knew sunggyu irl i would not go to him for comfort haha) and it would just be... awkward?

do you enjoy writing smut? LOL

i wouldn't write it if i didn't like it at least a little or else it would be a chore, not a hobby, right? actually i'm still pretty embarrassed posting smut but i'll write it haha
actually, i've noticed that almost every time i've written porn, it was for a request (or certain people enabling me to coughnhicoughcough what), not because i thought to myself, "man i really wanna sit down and write some sex today!!" there are exceptions to that, though! but nothing that i've been working on in my own time (aka not for requests) has smut in it, i think...

GoS is a school drama in 2010 actually.. if you enjoy school 2013 then i would recommend it~~ :D aaaah fbnd~ kkaegeum is such a cutie pie <3

HE WAS SO CUTE. i liked most of the characters, tho! i didn't think much of it plot-wise but the characters in it were so lively and fun n__n

do you possibly watch God of Study drama? :D #random

nope! the last drama i watched was... flower boy next door, i think? would you recommend it? :o

You're are one of my favourite Hogyu writers, though there are not many of them :-s. I love the fact that people tend to ignore them, and Hogyu can have very "quality time" together hihihihi. Hope to talk more with you in the future. :X

aww, thank you so much u///u i have a lot to improve, but i'm very glad to hear you're enjoying what i'm writing!! i hope to talk to you more in the future too ♡♡

Which couple would you think that will surive as BFF after Infinite things end? Hogyu, Myunggyu or Woogyu

i want to say ALL OF THEM but if i absolutely had to pick one, i would be stuck between hogyu and woogyu... Q___Q i've said before that i think hoya and sunggyu could be friends even in an alternate universe and get along well naturally, but at the same time, i think woohyun and sunggyu have a pretty strong relationship now. the kind of ~fire-forged~ friends, haha.
i pick hogyu because i'm a shipster and i gotta sail this ship!! ヽ(;▽;)ノ

sungyeol sees feelings, pt 2

It takes him a few more days, but Sungyeol figures it out: /feelings/. Feelings are colors, and the colors are lights, and the lights are what Sungyeol sees and wishes he didn't see because he thinks he might be starting to go a little insane with all of it. He knows when anybody is angry (no matter how hard they hide it, and some people, he discovers, are /very/ good at hiding it) or sad (and that's even worse than being angry because it makes Sungyeol's stomach sink and feel helpless for not being able to do anything when he knows something's wrong) or maybe a little in love (he swears, he /swears/ he sees somebody flash a beautiful rose pink for a moment but he's not sure whose color it is or who it was for) -- and that's more than he ever wanted to know.
"Hey, Sungyeol," Myungsoo murmurs, reaching over to rub his shoulderblade lightly. "Are you okay, Sungyeol? Lately you seem so... stressed out?"
Myungsoo always seems to be some shade of blue or green, with maybe a hint of gray and red sometimes. Sungyeol wants to tell Myungsoo what's going on -- comes inches from letting the words tumble out of his mouth -- but he knows how crazy it sounds. Myungsoo will worry even more, and he doesn't want Myungsoo to worry. "I'm just tired," he replies, and forces a smile.

crazy!sungyeol, please? and i mean literally crazy, like out of his mind.

i don't feel comfortable writing about mental disorders (which is what i was getting out of this prompt, i'm not 100% sure if that was the intention?) without doing a lot of research beforehand -- and even still there are a lot of things in that realm that i would rather just not touch because i don't think i could -- so this may not be what you wanted, but i hope it'll be satisfactory anyway ;;
- - -
Sungyeol wakes up one day and the world is full of lights. "Are you alright?" Myungsoo asks, peering down at him with worried eyes -- there's a faint blue-green halo around his head that won't go away no matter how hard Sungyeol blinks his eyes.
"I'm okay, I think," Sungyeol replies, faintly bewildered. On the other side of the room, Sunggyu is bathed in shades of muted red and pastel purples.
"Hey, you two," Sunggyu calls out. "Hurry it up, we're in a rush today. Lee Sungyeol! You aren't even dressed yet, what are you doing?"
"I'm okay, I'm coming," Sungyeol mutters, moving half-dazed, half-panicked to put his clothes on and get ready for the day. He ends up missing breakfast because he takes too long in the bathroom washing his face again and again and again: all he gets for his efforts is soap in his eyes and an empty stomach as they drive to M!Countdown.
Myungsoo sneaks him cereal bars in the car, pressing them into Sungyeol's lap discreetly as the manager is too busy pulling out of the driveway. "Thought you wouldn't want to perform hungry," he murmurs. His colors now are yellow and green.
- - -
Sungyeol's used to the audience being a wave of metal gold pearl, but today is different: everything is a different shade of neon, from electric yellow to bright bubble-gum pink to vivid, sunny orange-reds -- it's so bright that Sungyeol can't look out at the crowd or else he starts to get a splitting headache, and he nearly trips over his own feet and knocks Sungjong over in the middle of the bridge. "What were you /doing/," Sungjong hisses as they get off-stage.
"Sorry, I just -- headache," Sungyeol mutters. Sungjong is dark red and gray, and Sungyeol gets the feeling that isn't a good thing.
Sungjong's expression softens a little, though, and the dark red lightens up. "It's okay, hyung -- we all have days like that, I guess," he replies. "Dongwoo hyung probably has some aspirin or something, if you need it."
"Yeah, I think I'll ask him for it," Sungyeol replies. Dongwoo happily offers it over (ocean blue), but the aspirin doesn't really help.

myungyeol: myungsoo teaches sungyeol how to play the guitar!

Day three into learning how to play the guitar, and Sungyeol is somewhere in between frustration over how slow the going is and determination to get it right, but there's something intensely gratifying about just sitting there with Myungsoo, doing something with his best friend that's totally in Myungsoo's element. "Should we move on to a new chord today?" Myungsoo asks. Sungyeol nods, and Myungsoo smiles as he pats the spot next to him on his bed, holding his guitar out for Sungyeol to take. "Okay, let's do D minor today, then."
Sungyeol's half paying attention to the words coming out of Myungsoo's mouth and half paying attention to the way he's saying them -- Myungsoo's so eager about it that it's kind of endearing, Sungyeol thinks to himself as Myungsoo explains how to form the chord, pointing at the frets to hold down. "Is this right?" Sungyeol asks as he tries to make his fingers curl in the right direction to press down in the right spots.
Myungsoo reaches across his back and carefully rearranges Sungyeol's fingers, and Sungyeol realizes that Myungsoo's chest is practically pressed up against his back and Myungsoo's mouth is so, so very close to his ear -- "Give it a try," Myungsoo says, and Sungyeol feels a weird jolt down his spine that he doesn't really want to think about too much.
So instead, he takes a breath and strums across the strings of the guitar, playing a shaky but recognizable D minor. "There we go!" Myungsoo says, sliding back across the bed and smiling brightly. "Good job, Sungyeollie. D minor's weird, it's kind of hard to get the fingering right sometimes."
Sungyeol swallows, but for some reason, the fluttering feeling in his chest won't go away.

are you going to sign up for the dashidorawa mini/big bang? ;o; i think you should!

i would have really liked to! unfortunately, i didn't know about it until after the signup deadlines passed; i was out of infinite ficdom for a while ):
that said, i am in the process of writing some longer fics for infinite! i don't think anything i'm working on right now will reach 10k, but i'm pretty sure i can at least break 5k on some of the fics i'm working on (❁´◡`❁)

myungsoo/any, myungsoo is a secret physics genius

"I can't figure this out," Sungyeol mumbles under his breath. "What does this even mean, seriously?"
"Do you need help, hyung?" Myungsoo asks, looking up from the textbook he's reading.
"It's just this physics homework," Sungyeol replies, sighing as he gives up and rips the entire paper he'd been working on out of his notebook, crumpling it into a ball and shoving it across the table, where it slowly tumbles over to where Myungsoo is sitting. Myungsoo unfolds it carefully and gives it a quick glance-over. "It's alright, I'll just ask the professor for help tomorrow," Sungyeol says quickly as Myungsoo reads it. "Anyway, you're not even taking physics, right? I'm not sure how much you'd be able to --"
"Hyung," Myungsoo cuts in. "This isn't too hard, really. You just didn't set up your vectors right, that's why it's not coming out the way it should be. But the rest of your work is right. Here, I'll show you what I mean."
Sungyeol blinks a few times as Myungsoo picks up his pencil and redraws the vectors. "Uh," Sungyeol says blankly. "Thanks, Myungsoo."
"Not a problem, hyung!" Myungsoo replies, smiling widely as he passes the paper back to Sungyeol. "If you need more help, you can just ask, you know? I'm glad to be of assistance!"
- - -
When Sungyeol mentions the incident to his other friends off-handedly, he discovers -- to his great surprise -- that his best friend since freshman year is actually some kind of genius when it comes to physics. "How can you not know that," Sunggyu says flatly as Sungyeol gapes. "No, seriously -- /how/?"
"We don't talk about physics on a regular basis, ok," Sungyeol replies, even though he knows it's a weak excuse.
"He was also on the news a year or two ago for publishing some ground-breaking study or something," Hoya adds. "Because he was nineteen when it came out."
"And they're always talking about him in the university newsletters," Woohyun says.
"But," Sungyeol cuts in, "he's a photography major. Photography. Not physics. /Photography./"
Hoya and Sunggyu exchange glances. "He already has a doctorate in physics," Hoya says, rather gently, as if breaking bad news.
For the next several minutes, all Sungyeol can do is gape.

for your 30 day otp challenge. may i request krishun? :D

can do, anon! o7 i'll probably do krishun in the first few days then!

can you write kangjoo/hakyung going on an ice cream date?

Hakyung attempts to fend Kangjoo off by insisting, "I don't like ice cream," but the lie is a transparent one -- who doesn't like ice cream, honestly? -- so Kangjoo laughs and drags her out anyway. Kangjoo orders a triple-scoop banana split ("With extra chocolate syrup and whipped cream, please!") and Hakyung attempts to order a small vanilla cone, but Kangjoo stops her and orders a raspberry gelato for her instead.
"I wanted vanilla," Hakyung says, but there's no heat in her words.
Kangjoo grins. "Vanilla is boring! You should try something new every once in a while, right?" she replies, spooning a cherry off the top of her banana split and carefully putting it on top of Hakyung's gelato. "C'mon, try it -- it'll be good, I promise."
Hakyung scoffs, but she takes a tiny bite, pausing for a moment to let the flavor sink in before swallowing. "It's not bad," she admits. When she looks up, she meets gazes with Kangjoo -- there's a pause, and then they both smile at each other.
"If you like it, you can just say so, you know," Kangjoo teases, putting another spoonful from her bowl into Hakyung's.

hogyu (this is supposedly a fill for "third date", pt 2) (it's actually just shameful porn)

"Drop your napkin," Sunggyu murmurs.
"What?" Hoya asks blankly.
Sunggyu sighs. "I said," he repeats, in a tone of forced patience, "drop your napkin under the table."
Hoya knocks his cloth napkin over in a way that's so obviously on purpose that even he has to wince a little. A few moments later, he feels Sunggyu tucking his cock back into his boxers and zipping his pants back up, and the napkin is unceremoniously shoved into Hoya's crotch. Hoya tries not to think too much about what might be on it, and delicately nudges it back onto the floor.
Ten minutes later, Sunggyu shows up again, this time on the right side of the table. "Hi," he says breezily as he slides into his seat. "Didn't keep you waiting long, did I?"
Hoya isn't entirely sure if he wants to kiss Sunggyu or hit him on the shoulder, hard. "I am going to get back at you for this," he mutters.
Sunggyu shrugs, then makes Hoya buy him three different kinds of cake for dessert.

hogyu; third date

Sunggyu excuses himself to the bathroom halfway through their dinner date and shows up fifteen minutes later under the table, pulling gently at Hoya's pantleg to get his attention. "Uh," Hoya says as he lifts the tablecloth slightly. "What are you doing under there, hyung? And how did you get down there, anyway?"
In reply, Sunggyu unzips Hoya's pants. "No, seriously, /what are you doing/," Hoya hisses. One of his hands goes to push Sunggyu away, the other instinctively goes to the back of Sunggyu's head to pull him closer.
"Please don't distract me and just try not to make your squirming too obvious," Sunggyu replies softly. "Look back up, people are going to wonder why you're talking to your crotch."
Hoya isn't sure whether he's freaked out or turned on, but he drops the tablecloth anyway. Underneath the table, he can feel Sunggyu palming his dick through the fabric of his boxers and he's getting hard embarrassingly fast. Hoya looks around nervously, half-expecting somebody to have noticed something weird, but thankfully, nobody seems to be paying attention.
He manages to keep himself together with some deep breathing and careful relaxation, but then Sunggyu presses his mouth to the tip of his cock and Hoya nearly jumps in his seat. Sunggyu, though, pays no mind and continues -- Hoya isn't entirely sure what Sunggyu's doing with the tablecloth blocking the view, but for some reason he has this vision in his head of Sunggyu nuzzling his cheek against his dick and /fuck/ that shouldn't be as hot as he finds it.
Sunggyu pulls Hoya's boxers down and tongues the tip -- Hoya startles so badly the entire table shakes a little. The people at the closest table give him a look and Hoya smiles weakly at them as Sunggyu starts bobbing his head, taking in a little more of Hoya's dick into his mouth each time. Hoya grips at the edge of his chair so hard his knuckles start to go white, but it doesn't stop him from bucking his hips up slightly. After a few moments, he feels Sunggyu put his hands on his thighs, pushing down to keep him in place and Hoya is fucking terrified because somebody /has/ to be noticing this --
A waiter passes him just as Sunggyu hums slightly, the vibration sending a pleasant jolt up Hoya's spine. He leans forward slightly to attempt to mask his expression, because he's sure his face must be betraying him. The waiter pauses and asks, "Are you alright, sir?"
Hoya opens and closes his mouth a few times, vainly hoping Sunggyu will stop so he can answer (Sunggyu doesn't). He smiles weakly and nods, because he doesn't trust himself to speak, and he knows he's not being convincing because the waiter gives him a look before returning the nod and walking off -- Hoya bites his lip to stop himself from moaning as he comes not two seconds later, either into Sunggyu's mouth or onto his face and fuck, no, stop right there before you start imagining Sunggyu's face with come over it --

are you tend to be an angst writer or a fluff writer? what is your favorite fic genre? :D

looking at my masterlist, i'd say i'm pretty evenly split! i don't have a particular preference for angst or fluff, i think -- i like writing and reading both :3
favorite genre is a bit difficult for me to answer... for fanfic, again, i'd say i don't have a particular preference as long as it's enjoyable to read. for published fiction, most of my favorite modern novels are some intersection between postmodernism and magic realism. i like plots which are open-ended or ambiguous, which i think is reflected in some of the stuff i've written as well (haha), and i think most of the fanfics that have really stuck in my mind tend to be like that too.

sungjong/sunggyu, writing on skin

Humid summer nights, the kind that stick to the skin and make the heat sink into the flesh: most people hate them, but Sungjong doesn't mind them much. "I don't want to move," Sunggyu mutters, stomach pressed flat against the floor, trying half-heartedly to cool himself with a paper fan. "I don't want to exist, even. This is miserable."
"You're not being very leader-like right now," Sungjong says, reaching over to grab the fan out of Sunggyu's hand.
Sunggyu doesn't even resist. "I'm not made for this kind of weather is all," he replies listlessly.
"It doesn't get less humid because you complain, hyung," Sungjong says, nudging the side of Sunggyu's waist lightly.
In reply, Sunggyu makes a grumbling noise and sighs. "If I go to sleep, do you think it'll be better when I wake up in the morning?" he asks.
Sungjong shrugs; Sunggyu closes his eyes. For a while, everything is quiet except for the gentle swishing of the paper fan as Sungjong wafts himself. "Don't fall asleep on the floor, hyung," Sungjong finally says, but Sunggyu doesn't reply.
There's just a moment of hesitation before Sungjong reaches out, slowly tracing large, curved hangul on the small of Sunggyu's back with his pointer finger, so delicately he barely brushes against skin: lee - sung - jong - is. "Hey," Sunggyu says, propping his head up underneath his hands. "Do you think I don't know what you're writing?"
"Go back to sleeping, hyung," Sungjong replies, pushing Sunggyu's head back down.
(lee - sung - jong - is - the - one - who - likes - you - best)

<3 <3 <3 it's the power of anonymity really. random acts of kindness and hatred are both amplified when there's no face attached to it.

they really are! and in turn, it's also far easier to be hateful or kind when one doesn't have to attach their face to it. thank you for using your powers of anon for good, kind anon :* ♡♡

whatever the hell happened with bluedveins will pass, stay strong and know that some people still need time to mature.

thank you ♡ it honestly wasn't that bad, but i'm touched you took the time to write this. it's really the little things that keep a person going, you know? u///u
