What’s the best way to learn a new language?
If oooonly we knew ^_~
1. If you're a baby, just let it happen, your native language will come to you in magical ways. [I have an okay mark in language acquisition but I'm not going to go into theories here, to UG or to not UG is the question, but, that it happens is the truth!]
2. If you're learning anything beyond your native language... a] do it before you're 13, you'll get better results that way and b] IMMERSE YOURSELF IN IT. That is the 'best' way. Don't just read a book. Listen to the native speakers, try to speak for yourself, watch things... and yeah you can drill vocab and 'little and often' is the best way [not a lot in two hours every two weeks, because you'll forget things] but I think especially engaging is the best way. When you get to be creative and you're the one creating / solving the puzzle, you'll train yourself to remember in a better way somehow.
It is also important to find a positive motivation, and always go 1 step beyond your interlanguage, anything beyond that will be too hard and make you want to give up.
And always always always enjoy yourself ^___^ and music also helps to remember things!

YESSSS come visit soon! But maybe not right now as the weather is as schizophrenic as in Belgium it seems. o_O;;
But yeah I got a job! And I have to do one resit [but I'm fine really] and I'm moving stuff about in the house and trying not to give up on Japanese [but failing] and trying to get ready for the coming year in between all the other crazy things people are planning! ONE ultimate favourite piece of clothing?! Only ONE... (◎_◎;) I'm a hoarder who buys three of the same just in other colours because I can't pick a favourite! Or two of the same colour! My brain! It can't cope.
Well... boring answer has to be boring but PUPPET CIRCUS oh glob - other super awesome pieces of clothing please don't get mad at me I love you but - Puppet Circus is my holy grail. I lusted longgggg over that dress and I fought for it and I paid myself into eternal debt for it and my face when I look at it is always kind of like this ♡o｡.(✿ฺ｡ ✿ฺ)
Actually I'm not even kidding when I say I can't cope with options, I do really badly, and even worse with favourites, like, what if you limit yourself to one thing and then the other turns out to be super awesome as well?! [which is often the case] It's been a problem ever since I was small, I did ALL the extracurricular activities as a child [dancing! theatre! singing! sport! circus! don't want to pick just one but fine ok drop sports because I suck at them] and then when I had to pick subjects at school I just picked all of them, which was kind of ridiculous and didn't work at all... and now it's still very much a thing. I treat everything kind of like a buffet, and shopping very much the same: throw it all in there and then by process of elimination get to the shit you need. It takes about 5 times as long as picking 1 solid thing [favourite?] to start with, and you totally always end up with mediocre shit you didn't really want but it seemed kinda cool at the time... conclusion: I don't do well with options. It's better when there just aren't many options, really. Hahaha. This is totally not what you asked la la la PUPPET CIRCUS la la la I'm just saying if I had it in white and in black it would be IMPOSSIBLE for me to answer this question it's a good thing I only have one la la la la la ♪(´ε｀ )

If you had to choose between a unicorn with depression and an alpaca with happiness, which one would you choose?
I had to think really hard about this question because obviously I totally love both animals but having a unicorn is my crazy dream so yeah then the unicorn would win. (•ㅅ•) But then the question is supposedly showing this 'dillemma' of wanting something depressing or something happy, and obviously you should choose to surround yourself with happiness.
BUT I would feel terrible knowing that there is a depressed unicorn out there and that I was being selfish by leaving it in the cold, so then I would choose the unicorn to try and help it through its super tough times of stinky depression. Then we'd both be super duper happy when it got out of it! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°
BUT then I felt bad for assuming the alpaca would just be okay all on its own, and what if I have to run some errands and leave the unicorn alone for a second and it would get all sad and ooh glob... (;*△*;) so I decided I choose both so they can be friends! Yeap. ＼（★´−｀）人（´▽｀★）／
