Psychology is honestly one of the most interesting topics and sciences to me. Knowing why a person thinks that way, how the human mind works and operates, having the ability to understand and reach out to people is something that has always breached my interest. Psychology actually answers some and even uncovers mysteries of life, when you think about it. The problem is, most people take Psych for the wrong reasons.
If you're going to take a degree to get a job, then don't bother going to university. I have always stressed this principle and I will say it once more. Most Psych majors take this because it has no math (wrong-Stat and lots of Stat), has a high payoff (if you become an HR Manager in a company), or is a good pre-med/pre-law. Although these are not bad reasons, albeit, the primary reason for pursuing a degree is to quench your thirst for knowledge. I know I'm slowly quenching mine.
