Any writing tips?
Oh goodness gracious great balls of fire. I never got this question before and I was hoping I wouldn't lol but here it is xD
I honestly know nothing about writing. Thalia is my first time writing AT ALL since I was in 3rd grade and I'm in 10th now...that's a gap. The best advice is if you're trying to learn to write, never ever go to a Wattpad book. Don't get me wrong there are some seriously good written books like float by ToastedBagels and love for goats by thisis, but they're hard to find.
Read a real professional book (like Sarah Dessen) but this time don't focus on the story, focus on the writing. Look at how they start sentences, how they describe things, what they put into the chapter that isn't dialogue or actions. Like thoughts and flashbacks and stuff.
Also look at how they describe events and if you need to, use a thesaurus when writing (I do it all the freaking time) to stop repetitive things :)
I'm done. Lol. Also imagination and originality. If you want a unique story, type awkward situation stories or weird life stories into google and find stuff :)
