Ik heb echt helemaal niets met kerst. En nee, ik ga geen kerstboom zetten, sterker nog, er komt nog geen kerstbal of kerststukje in mijn kamer.

What do you think of unnatural coloured hair such as pastel colours that have been seen quite often lately? If you do like the look what are some examples of your favourite?

I think it can look great on some people. There's a stunning girl in one of my classes that has lilac hair and it looks amazing on her.
My favourite example is probably Kate Moss with pink hair.

Which websites/webshops do you visit daily?

Uhm, I don't visit webshops on a daily basis. In fact, I only visit webshops when I'm looking for something particular. As for other websites I check news sites, bloglovin, tumblr, youtube, pinterest, university webmail multiple times a day.

How does your current wishlist looks like?

I'm broke, so I'm not even thinking of wishlists. However, I do need a new winter coat, I'm afraid of wearing my APC one out. And sneakers, Adidas Gazelles again or Nike Vintage? The perfect leather jacket has been on my wishlist forever. More knits are welcome as well, as are corduroy trousers and skirts.

What is your top 3 of your favourite red lipsticks?

For the last month or so I've been wearing Chanel Rouge Allure in Passion non stop. But it changes all the time, one moment I might wear a certain shade for weeks, the next I'll wear a different lipstick everyday. I suppose my absolute favourites are Chanel Rouge Coco in Rivoli, Rimmel's Red Fever and Mac's Ruby Woo. I actually have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the last one. I think it looks better on others, it looks more like a super bright pink on me? The first red I ever bought was Vendôme from Chanel. I haven't worn that one in months though.
I'm always tempted to buy new reds, especially when there's a discount. I might ask Russian Red for Christmas or one of the infamous Nars velvet pencils (but which shade?!). Or Tom Ford lipstick. Charlotte Tilbury's lipstick also looks stunning...

Heb je tips om vakken bij te houden/in te studeren? Mijn eerste jaar uni en ik heb geen idee hoe ik dit alles moet aanpakken. Hellup :<

Oh, Ik ben de laatste persoon die je zou moeten vragen om studietips! Ik houd dingen zelden bij en ik schrijf aantekeningen op losse blaadjes om ze vervolgens te verliezen...
De eerste twee weken maakte ik dagelijkse planningen, dat hielp wel. Ik plande zelfs de maaltijden.
Verder is het verstandig om een agenda te gebruiken ipv je telefoon, zorg dat je aantekeningen na college direct in een wordbestand zet (als je geen laptop gebruikt tijdens college), lees de stof en maak opdrachten zo ver mogelijk van te voren. In de bibliotheek studeren ipv thuis helpt ook wel, als je snel afgeleid raakt.
Misschien kun je een facebookpagina voor je studie oprichten? Best handig om elkaar vragen te stellen en om aantekeningen etc. uit te wisselen.
Ik hoop dat je hier wat aan hebt! Ik zou nu eigenlijk ook gebruik moeten maken van m'n eigen tips. :$

Any ideas of what to bring on a month long trip to England and France? Beautiful style you have!

Just the same clothing you normally wear? Make sure to pack some warm sweaters and things that are easy to layer. Maybe an evening dress and fancy shoes as well?

Hello! My friend and I are soon travelling to the US. What would you buy (make-up, fashion,..) when you were there?

I hope this answer isn't too late. I've never been to the US. But if I were to go I'd probably stock up on food. Healthy stuff that's rather expensive in the Netherlands such as chia, spirulina, raw cacao etc. and I'd buy lots of candy and chocolate.
As for make up and fashion, I think I'd buy sneakers, which are probably much cheaper there (such as nikes, converse, adidas) and I'd go crazy at Sephora, even though I don't have any particular products in mind right now.

Ik kocht hem afgelopen zomer in de opruiming voor 20-30 euro. Ik geloof dat hij uiteindelijk zelfs afgeprijsd was naar 17 euro. Ik weet niet welke maat je nodig hebt, maar ik zag net wel twee in maat M en L op de Amerikaanse ebay staan. Hopelijk kom je de blouse tegen voor een aardig prijsje op mp of ebay!

I bought a beautiful cable knit on sale from APC last year. I don't know if they have one in the current collection. I'm not very updated on the current stock of any (online) shops. Even though I'd like to have some new clothing, I can't really bother looking for things online or in stores.
Try typing "cable knit jumper" in google or polyvore, you'll get lots of results. H&M Men's usually makes good sweaters as well.

How did you met Sebastiaan?

I first met him when I moved to Groningen about five years ago. I changed schools in the middle of the school year and I ended up in his class. We didn't become friends then. Even though we did a presentation together on Marie Antoinette and we both liked Sofia Coppola's movies. We eventually became friends in college, as first year History students.

What do your sisters want to study later?

Haha, random question.
My youngest sister wants to become a writer/journalist, so I guess she'll study Dutch, journalism or literature. My other sister hasn't got the faintest idea what she wants to do. Nothing really appeals to her. Maybe something with sports or travel?

How are classes at your new school

so far I'm really liking university. the courses I have for this semester are an introduction to literature, realism in film and literature, academic english, film history, academic skills and text and image analysis.

What do you usually do in weekends?

Work, study, watch movies, wasting time by lying on the on the couch and watching tv, eat junkfood, hang out with Sebastiaan. I don't really do much exciting things on the weekends.

What is your favorite language? And what your least favorite?

I don't really have a favourite. There are a lot of languages I like the sound of and would like to be able to speak. However, I do really love the English and French language. I've never been so keen on German, I disliked learning it in school.
