If you're books were to be published, which book do you think holds the most promise?

Definitely MITV, mainly because I've received such amazing feedback on it and I feel that many readers can relate to a few of the characters/situations within the story.

Approximately how often do you try to update your stories on wattpad?

I generally try to update once every week, but if I'm busy with other life events then it takes a bit longer. I usually try to keep you guys in the loop of when I'll be updating so you're never left guessing :)

Thank you so much, your support means the world! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) honestly, years of practice. I've read so many books and through that, I learned how to describe characters, settings, and scenes. But putting my own voice and story to it takes a lot of practice. Before MITV I would just write short stories here and there, publishing them on sites like Booksie (throwback!) and getting constructive criticism. From there, I just kept of perfecting my craft and I've still got a lot of things I want to improve on as a writer but I've come a long way from when I first began.
The story wasn't inspired by anything in real life, I just thought of the plot on a random day and ran with it! Sometimes the best stories come from the most unexpected places :)

yes! if only you guys could see the amount of stories i have lined up in the 'my works' section on wattpad, you'd think i was crazy. i literally have about 10 stories to choose from that i want to publish.
i know. i'm insane.

I love your writing! How did you get so good at it?

practice, practice, practice! and ask for opinions/ideas/suggestions/constructive criticism from people that you trust

LMAO. Yes, I will! I actually still go on there to read everyone's comments and messages. It's the end of the semester + finals + graduation, so I'm busy preparing for a bunch of things. I've also been applying/interviewing for jobs post graduation. I'm so sorry for the lack of communication and life on my profile. And I feel bad not having updated TCHL in awhile but my personal and academic life are my priority right now and once summer kicks in and I have more time to write, I'll update! Thanks for understanding <3

How do you add humor into your story? I feel like my story is kind of boring and I want to add humor, but I don't want to go against my characters.

For me, it's in the subtle things. The way a character sarcastically responds to a situation or a conversation, facial expression a character makes, or a situation in general that can be seen as humorous to readers. Think of what makes you laugh and somehow incorporate that into your story. Don't force it though - let it come naturally.

I left the ending of MITV open-ended in terms of relationships because I wanted it to focus more on her personal growth and development rather than who she ended up with :)

What were the years you started writing all of your books in order from least recent to most recent?

I started both MITV and TCHL last year but published MITV before TCHL :) But I've been writing since I was back in middle school. These two stories are the only ones that I've actually gotten the courage to publish.

Many writers say they need to write a strong lead before they can progress in the story. Others say that can “discover” their lead through the process of writing. How do you think about your lead from the time you are reporting and throughout the process?

I'd say I'm the writer who needs a strong lead before I can progress in the story. My mentality is that the story revolved around that strong lead(s) and everything else kind of falls into place after it.

I'm writing my first book and as I'm rereading the first chapter, I find it kind of boring and stiff. How do I lighten the mood?

Add some humor! Sarcastic, witty, even explicit humor if need be. If it's a more serious book with a deeper topic, then maybe add it in subtly. I always think humor is an easy way to lift any story from being boring/stiff.

Hi, I'm new and I would love to know how you organize your stories. Do you use and outline and if so how do you make one? Do you have any suggestions on writer's block? If so, when I am finally over my boulder that's blocking my creative juice, will you read my book when I finally do upload it?

I do outline stories by the main story plot and then by each chapter. Bullet points are easiest for me to organize my thoughts with and then I just fill in the blanks with writing.
The way I deal with writer's block is to stop writing and stop thinking about writing altogether. I do a complete detox from Wattpad and writing and just breathe. I focus on school or work and until something strikes my inspiration back up, I wait for the ideas to come to me. A lot of people feel pressured when they have writer's block to post something back up for readers on Wattpad, but it's your story and you have control over it. Reader's can wait - I'm sure they'd rather have a well thought out chapter/story that took time and effort than something that was rushed and half-assed.
And as for reading your book, I get a ton of reading requests already and I'll try my best to get to yours. I barely have had any time to even write lately because it's nearing the end of the semester, so it'll probably take awhile =/

I'm glad you're already excited about the possibilities! I don't have a sequel in mind but a spin-off perhaps :)
