if my hair is naturally curly but damaged because of straightening my hair so much, can you make it curly again?

I'm a doctor not a magician but it's worth a try.
Trimming the dead ends might help revitalize your healthier hair unless it's all fried beyond repair. I've been able to bring hair back from the dead on some occasions

I have very curly hair (3b/3c). I have it in pretty healthy condition and was considering lighting my color one or two shades but I don't want to damage my hair. What type of hair dye would you recommend?

Just go with a good colorist. Check their resume & ask to see their work. I recommend getting referrals from other girls with similar hair. Professional hair color is pretty good so you don't need to worry.

I have natural curly hair, but I relaxed it 5 months ago. I want all my curly hair back, but I still have straight ends- about 4 inches. I don't know which method to do. And I prefer my hair to not be short.

What oils do you recommend? Somethung natural like Coconut oil or olive oil? Or something like morrocanoil??

I don't like oils on wet hair. If it sounds like good it's not for your hair. I'd rather see shiny hair because it's healthy & not bc it's greasy.
A little bit over dry hair is ok for shine

I have straight hair would it be possible for me to get a perm and make it really really curly??

Make sure you get someone with experience in perms! They can be quite damaging!!!

It's cheaper than flying here or spending money on a bad haircut & then paying someone to fix it
This haircut will last 4-8 months so you save on the long run

I'm in the process of buying DevaCurl right now. My hair is curly, but COMPLETELY damaged, curls only if i crunch them for a good 10-15 min. I straighten it alot because I never seem to find a GOOD product that actually works. What are YOUR top 3 DevaCurl products you can recommend for me?

You can't expect me to recommend products that have polymers, parabens, silicone & other ingredients that will coat your hair & dry it out.

I don't use the curling iron or blow dry my hair nothing of that! My hair doesn't grow

re: the straightening comment, I mean with a flat iron. Hair is like fiber right? You don't damage a shirt each time you iron it - as long as it's done correctly.

The shirt doesn't change its shape you're stretching out the curls & flattening them against their will. They prefer to shrink & set in their natural texture. When you're forcing them straight you're altering their texture & that damages hair. The cuticle layer is burned with the hot stretching

I know straightening with poor technique is deadly to curls, but what about the people who straighten curly hair and know what they're doing? Not all heat is damaging.

Try holding the blowdryer to your skin as long as it's on the hair. You're just lucky hair doesn't have sensory nerves or they'd be screaming at you to stop! It's impossible to use that much heat & not damage the hair

A lot of curly girls (myself included) have a spray bottle of water and dampen their hair in the mornings to apply product and freshen up curls. Do you find this damaging?

I like it. Even better if you add a few drops of conditioner

What deva products for cleanse, condition, and style/ hydrate do you suggest for type 3c hair? Thank you!

I haven't found anything better than #DevaCurl yet. I'm open to experimenting, but I keep getting disappointed.
