I was reading the questions here and wondered: Is there any question that you want to answer on Ask.fm, but no one has never asked? Kisses, Karen Alves

Good question! I guess that I would just like less extremely personal questions to be asked. :P However, even then, it's quite funny when you allow people to question anonymously. You get to see what some are really thinking.

Do you listen to persian music? And (if the answer is yes) who is your favourite persian singer ? :D

I don't listen to modern Persian music, but traditional Iranian music. Thanks to my father, I was raised on it.

Hi Fo! Please, dance to Enter?!! I know u are a big fan of Within Temptation!!!! Can u do that?!! Kisses

I absolutely love that song! It's actually in the list of songs that I plan to dance to in the upcoming studio sessions. ;)

How do you manage your time to sing, dance , go for photoshooting and study? I can barely do two things out of those you do and I don't have time for anything :)

It's definitely not easy, since if I could, I would be doing art 100% of the time... but I do have to leave room to study. I think that it has become a natural part of my life now. I don't think too much about it. I just do what feels right, in the right moment, and all seems to fall into place. :)

When will you make another video of you singing?

Aryeh Rosenzweig
I'm currently working on a very, very simple piano composition, and trying to somehow add lyrics to it. I wish to become musically active as well, as I love the art of singing. So, I think that I can say that I will share something in that line soon.

Will you make more bellydance videos outside (loved those videos in the forest, surrounded by nature :D)?

Of course! I love and miss making those videos. I plan to do some outdoor bellydance videos this year, but so far the weather is still a little too cold for that here in Vancouver. As soon as the weather is warmer and more stable, I will do my best to make some outdoor bellydance videos several times.

Thank you for your answer :) what about a live collaboration with Septicflesh during a tour? I'm amazed from your video on their songs...

Thank you again. I would be honoured to collaborate with a band as inspirational as Septicflesh. As I always say, there is so much room to dream.

I think that's not a new question, but...how did you think to connect the bellydance to metal music? I think that's one of the most amazing ideas I've ever seen, you must know that you stroke my interiority, you inspired me so much that now I consider you as the incarnation of Art. xD

Thank you so much. :)
It's been asked so many times indeed, and I think that I would only repeat myself if I tried to write it again, so I will quote the answer I gave in an old interview when someone asked me the same question.

"I was (and still am) very much moved and inspired by Ancient Egyptian spirituality ever since I was little. During mid-2007, I fell in love with bellydancing, as I noticed how spiritual it can be. During the same time I also fell in love with metal music, and naturally fused them together."

Whats your favorite song from orphaned land?

At the moment... "Sapari" and "Birth Of The Three". I have such amazing memories with "Birth Of The Three", because I used to listen to it all the time when I went back to visit my home country after many years. When I hear it now, I remember being in the car and seeing all the places that I saw as a child. Surreal...

Do you feel lucky that you perform with all of those bands on stage?

I wouldn't call it lucky, but honoured. I feel honoured to have been able to perform with some of the bands that I have performed with. The experiences made me grow so much, internally, as an artist and person.

How old was lunaria when you got her? And where did you get her?

We got her from a family when she was still a kitten.

What language do you think more in, english or persian?

I think in English, but when I count in my head, I count in Farsi. :P

Have you ever been in southamerica ?

I have never been to the US, or any country other than Canada and my home country. I wish to be able to travel around the world some day, especially for my art.

I have heard that ear cartilage piercings never totally heal actually, I got mine done 7 years ago and it still hurts a little bit, I can't sleep unless I take it off. When did you get yours?

It's true, at least in my experience. I got my very first helix piercing in 2010, and it still hurts a bit if it is touched. I do sleep with all of my piercings on, however. I don't have any significant problems surrounding any of them.

How do you enjoy daily life in Vancouver? Sorry if this has been asked in the past. Considering going to school there so was curious.

I love it here and can't imagine living anywhere else. It's a beautiful city, with lots of amazing locations that are nice for photography and videography, which helps me a lot.

What attracts you to gothic photography and gothic make up, for example, the last Victoria Frances photoshoot you took? what do you see in this kind of art? (Regards from Jordan) :)

I have always seen beauty in this look, more than in other styles. I pretty much grew up watching these painted women and wanted to some day be like them. Of course as I grew, that childish side of me that simply wanted to look like paintings, faded in real life, and got replaced with the side of me that desired to develop and find my own style, while still in love with playing around with the fantasy-look and beauty that Francés shows in her art. :)

how was working with Moonspell? I really worship them , wanna know every detail ;) {love & respect from Iran}

Thank you!
Moonspell was one of the greatest bands that I had the pleasure of performing with. The performance inspired me in a deep and everlasting way. It isn't only their music that is powerful and deep, but also the people behind it.

I don't see you posting many photos of you with friends, which makes me wonder; would you say you are a loner? Or is there an "out of the spotlight" life?

A bit of both I suppose. There definitely is an "out of the spotlight life", of course, or I'd be insanely uncomfortable in life. I've always naturally chosen a very quiet life, with few people whom I enjoy to regularly be with. The other side of this is that I do have a personal life outside of Mahafsoun, with many people who aren't too comfortable with having their photos shared in front of thousands of people.

How many friends you have in Facebook?

Unfortunately I've reached the maximum limit, after the countless invites I received, which is why I made everything public, so that Subscribers can have the same access as people in my friends list.

Is there any picture of you you particulary don't like? :o

Lots. I just don't share them. They are safe, somewhere far from the internet. :P

What did you do before bellydancing?

Aryeh Rosenzweig
Not much. I simply went to school and read a lot. Mostly Anne Rice books, and books about Ancient Egyptian spirituality and myths.

What do you think of orphaned land's new album artwork?

Aryeh Rosenzweig
I think that the concept is beautiful. It's exactly the positive message that Orphaned Land tries to express. All Is One, we are all one.
