do you consider yourself more an introvert or an extrovert?

Great question. I guess to be strong in one aspect, is to be weak in the other. As much as I may seem like an extrovert, I'm actually more of an introvert.

Did you ever think of visiting israel?

Yes, of course. It's a beautiful country. I'd love to also visit the Israel Museum some day, the one in Jerusalem.

That video you mentioned, Nahash, actually has to be my favourite so far from all the ones I've uploaded. :)
But since that is already mentioned, a very close call, I think, would be this video. Mainly because of the song. I just love this song:

Have you ever thought about starting your own band?

Ever thought about it? Absolutely. Ever attempted? Not at all. I'm still in the process of growing the guts for that. It's a fun process, to touch on an art form that's a little out of my comfort zone. :)

i think you lost quite abit of weight when I compare your newer videos to older ones. Did you go on a diet or is that just from dancing and the gymn? How often and long do you do either? Just curous :)

I was very sick and was hospitalized a couple of months ago, which effected my health negatively, causing some weight loss because of that... but I think that nowadays it is because of the gym and how often I go due to realizing that it makes me feel energized and good. :) Bellydancing also helps keep the body in shape. I don't like to diet, it isn't really my thing. I love food. Haha

Thank you for the compliment! However, I'm far from living a life without worries. Haha I just try to keep my mind focussed on what matters... keep the negatives to myself as much as possible. I know that I get inspired by other's kindness and good energies, so I want to give off the same kind of energy.

Would you ever consider dancing to music with a more electronic sound like what was in Enduser - Switch?

Definitely. I have some music in mind that have some dubstep parts and electronic parts in them, much like that song. It's far from metal, but it's a nice change once in a while.

What does Mahafsoun mean? I only remember that you wrote under your Vampiria-Video, that it can also mean Moonspell. Was this your initial idea for this artist name? Sorry if you answered this question before. =)

One of the many direct translations of "Mahafsoun" is "Moonspell". It wasn't the initial reason at all, it just happened to be one of the translations. Haha This is because it consists of 2 Farsi words:
Mah - Moon
Afsoun - Spell, Bewitchment, Magick, Sorceress

in your opinion which is easier to bellydance on Arabian music or on metal ?? btw you are one awesome amazing bellydancer and the songs you choose are great !!

Both styles are just as challenging I would say. I personally don't think that one can start bellydancing to metal without learning the traditional moves and dance first, so in a strong way, both styles work together. It's good to still practice the traditional moves and style, as they are the base and backbone of the dance itself, no matter what style of music/dance you are fusing bellydance with.

How many piercing and tattoos do you have? Do you plan to have more? And where?

9 piercings and 3 tattoos, and I definitely have more that I want. Not quite sure yet, but it will be mostly tattoos than piercings. :)

I'd love to visit Egypt some day soon! Mainly to see the temples and the historic sights.
There will definitely be more of those little contests. I enjoy interacting with everyone like that. :)

Do you enjoy the German symphonic metal band, Haggard? :) I find that belly dancing to their music is such a delight!

Of course I know that band. I think their music is perfect for metal bellydance. Maybe soon I will do a video to their music. :)

Will you do some bellydance videos in the forest? We miss that kind of videos.

Absolutely! I miss doing those kinds of outdoor videos so much. Hopefully this year.

Do you like the band Evanescence? Just curious. :)

I LOVE Evanescence! Mostly because of Amy Lee. She is, in my opinion, the most gorgeous artist I know. I just adore her and all that she creates. That woman has her emotions and art so perfectly in synch... I look up to her a lot.
