do you let others keep your art in a competition? do you think it's rude not to?
it depends really; if I was super attached to character and I feel like the art really represents the character /I/ created, I don't give it to the winner. If the art is more 'generic' or I wasn't super attached, then I let them. I think people often consider it rude not to, but I think that's stupid. You put in the time, effort (and in commission-case, funds) to have that art made, and the winner isn't entitled to it, necessarily. u v u
