i really, really think you need to open mod apps again, a lot of your staff is busy now because of school and there's a lot of spam on the fc :T

Honestly, I just don't have a good way to find trustworthy, friendly mods who won't just make their customs and split. I'm lucky to have the few I do rn but I don't have a good way to find more besides hiring a bunch and then firing those who don't actually work, which would result in a lot of sore feelings. ^^;

Don't artists get more customs than other staff like mods?

Artists get one more custom than mods because they're constantly designing plumies and liable to like one or two. Mods still get a custom as a thanks for their hard work though! I don't find that system unfair at all. ^^

yeah i do that all the time !! most of our artists originally applied as GAs uwu

do you hire guest artists if the community likes them/you think their designs are suitable?

i rarely judge at all on general "popularity" or how much they're "liked"
the only time id take that into account is if ive witnessed them being really awful/obnoxious;
i just go by how their design examples look and how i imagine their style would go with plumies !! tbh i dont really look at the usernames at all til the end, just open up the forms i like in diff tabs and narrow it down, then read the usernames and post em!

These flip flops are my shoe of choice, even though it's really cold outside and I'm all bundled up xD
I got my nails done in June and I'm too lazy to clean them off, so that's the sparkly gold
If I'm not wearing my flip flops, I have a pair of black ones I like less, red converse, white/purple tennis shoes, and then like 5 pairs of boots cause COMFY \ o /
