I agree. The dummy mare works a lot better. Because what if the stallion got to excited and decided to try and hurt himself, or even the mare herself?
yep exactly and the mare can also be dangerous became they can kick out and injure the stallion !

what did u say to ur parents to get u a nicer saddle? my trainer wants me to look into Antares or CWD bc my current saddle is effecting how well i can ride. I want to ask asap but I don't know how to approach it
I just asked my dad when I got Monty to get me a saddle as I needed one for my horse and for my 2nd saddle it was the same for Smiley just to make things easier :) I hope you can convince your parents !

I agree with you being safer. I mean, doing naturally is perfectly fine. But I've seen stallions get a little to crazy when they get near a mare like that
yep exactly and it gets them really excited and less controllable for a bit of time after so it's much easier for a completion stallion to just go on a dummy mare

Do you bred him with the mares artificially? I'm not trying to sound rude, I've just seen it done either that way or he mounts her in the room and wait for results
all the foals he's had have been naturally I believe but I would prefer doing it artificially because it's much safer
