Videos you can do outside: facts about yourself, favourite youtubers, updates video (school, when you'll be riding again, what you've been up to etc) :)
thanks for the ideas Montana now I have tons to choose from 💃 I've never done an updates video idk if people like those !
I would recommend speaking to your trainer about that if they have experience saddle fitting because it depends on how your saddle dosen't fit your horse . is it the shoulder clearance , the wither clearance , the gullet, etc so many different things could be the issue
Hey do you have any tips for making money when you are under 16? how do you support your horses? what are some good ways to save money? How do you know when you're ready for your own whores like how much experience should you have and what thing should you know?
I'm able to support my horses because of my (now) supportive parents and I just got a lucky start when I got Monty because my mom didn't want to buy me a horse ( before I went of to university ) but Monty came in to my life and I honestly owe so much to him. When I got Monty I had ridden consistently for a while and I felt ready and I bought a lot of horse books before I got him because I always wanted a horse but never thought it was possible and I was just really determined to improve
It just depends on your mindset I think! But it's pretty interesting how people look at things so differently. I always think it's best to not over analyze and take things more lightly instead of getting worked up 🌝
ya exactly especially when I have like a bad lesson etc I just forget about it and think about my next lesson because it dosen't do any good when you just stay in that sad mindset
I'm the same way 😂 some people get frazzled when horses act up or they fall off but I just ride through it/get right back on after. Like when that mare almost flipped on me/stepped on my leg. I literally was laughing at the fact that she was such a bitchy mare, said I'm good, and got right back on.
ya like confidence is so important in this sport and if you can't handle sass you just need to become a stronger/experienced rider ! I think you can learn so much from the harder horses like the stallion I rode yesterday was so much work but so rewarding at the end !
Do you have any tips to help not get nervous before a show? Also tips for your first horse show?
I've still only went to a handful of shows so I'm not the best to ask about that! but honestly by my last few shows I did last season I felt much more comfortable and a lot less nervous because I gained more experience. A tip for your first show would be to start small and have fun! ( that's what I did )
Do you have any ways to get confidence back after a riding fall or accident? Also my last question is do you have any tips or ideas to help get one horse out of a pasture? I have to get one horse out of a pasture of about 10 to 12 other horses and they all want to get out and it is very stressful
the best tip I have is to always get back on ( if you're able to ) and don't overanalyze things and just move forward from the event . Now when I fall off it dosen't bug me as much because you just get used to falling off and getting back on honestly 😂 like in Norway this horse tripped with me and I got back on in like 1 minute and then started my lesson and it was great !
