Tips on getting green horses to canter, my mare is really testing me and will only canter for a few strides. She is undermuscled but she canters fine on a lunge and in her paddock playing 💗
honestly I'm not qualified to answer this question sorry as I have not ridden a horse that wasn't broke please talk to a trainer or another qualified rider :)

stallion* and no if you get worried when riding he can sense that and it makes everything worse . He's a competition stallion so once he's focused and at work he works nicely :)

Is your horse or horses hard to handle or ride? What level of rider could ride him/her?
Smiley is unpredictable so I wouldn't just let anyone on him because he can randomly spook once in a while but he's usually good . Monty is super sweet but is very stubborn and has a stallion mentality so you really need to ride him every stride or he loses concentration . I don't let anyone else ride Smiley because he's 8 and I don't want him to learn other bad habits . My trainer and I are the only ones who ride Smiley because if I make a mistake my trainer corrects it and makes sure Smiley is progressing in his training . I've let my friends ride Monty before and he's great when he's on a consistent schedule but if he's fresh there's a chance he'll buck you off lol
What style of parlantis how long have you had them? Do they hold up good ? Would you recommend them ?
I have the chaps and the paddock boots and they're great I recommend them
