Not all natural horsemanship is about riding bit less. There's a lot more to it and when done correctly it can be very useful! To anyone who is interested, look up Johnathan Field.
yes I wasn't talking about all natural horsemanship
Do you ever dream of winning a lottery? What would you do with your millions?
half to charity and half to horses
what do you do when riding on your period
I ride
(Cont) like I used to move up the levels & stuff and now my horse is injured and I haven't jumped in months I can't remember the feeling of jumping decent heights if you understand me?
just start up small and move back up from there so you get the feeling back !
I always think jumping bigger fences like 130+ must seem huge when you approach it.. do you think if you are on a horse which you know can jump that and has done and won't stop will make it almost not scary? I don't want to get a good SJ horse & be scared to do higher fences although I am braveish
yes haha it feels like you are approaching a small wall ! Like when a jump is 1m it's below you but when it's like 130 and above its at your eye level . I honestly wasn't that scared because I trusted Smiley ! like I never hesitated or told my trainer that I was nervous cuz I didn't really think about it too much ! my trainer just kept raising the jump and I knew it was big but it didn't really scare me
You might not really think about this, or realize the contradiction, and that's fine. But you get annoyed when people share your videos to other equestrians (who wouldn't), but you have no problem giving your op of other horses and riders when people send them to you. It's really the same thing...
I'll stop giving opinions :)
Oh gosh ok chill 🙄😁
about what ?
hey i just watched you recent video of you riding Smiley and you guys look great 😍😍😍 i can't wait to see where he takes you)!!
Ok so I can't ride a horse that is really bumpy like the horse I used to have was part Tennessee walker - quarter horse
So she wasn't really bumpy but I'm looking in getting a horse any advice on what horse I should get
Yeah like obviously the horse she was riding needs encouragement and training. She is only trying to work with him. Things take time. You can't judge someone based on a video. But based on the video she did a great job riding him bc I would have fallen off a long time ago 😂
Exactly, like just because you don't ride the way I do doesn't mean what I am doing is wrong. I want to see him jump on her horse with a halter and watch him fall off.😂
Haha Ikr? The natural horsemanship ppl just don't understand the way we ride. I get the whole bit less thing and to use less tack but she was not making the horse rear. She was training. Her video was made to show her journey with the horse, not to show off. It shows how far she had come
yes what's even scarier is all these stupid comments on the video agreeing with him ! I don't even think half those people even know how to ride a horse
