Why did you choose fashion design as your undergraduate (S1) major degree?
hahaha first thing first, I didn't choose fashion design, nor fashion-major-related as my major degree.
the reason is because my parent used to be conservative persons, where they want their kids to be either a doctor or architect.
As time goes by, I realize I do have interest in what you called as fashion-industry. I had my internship in fashion retail business, and I'm trying to make everything (like my thesis, assignment) relate to fashion because I know I couldn't get this study from the campus. So I learn it by myself.

Well, I don't think hipster nowadays is still relevant. Why? Because from what I've been experiencing, hipster nowadays are the one who are 'cool' and following the latest trends.
If you talk about Indonesian hipster, those are the people who actually going on a mainstream things; such as joining color run, light run or car free day, visiting hipster place, joining some famous concerts, wearing local brands and so on. They sometimes consider hipster as "gaul", no longer as "someone who are unique". I remember once when my friend said she want to join color run, then her friend said, 'hipster banget sih anaknya ikutan color run'. see where this is going? It does look like being hipster means being 'gaul'.
I'm more prefer to the old hipster, which is unique and not mainstream. you know, listening to some kind of not-a-top-40-songs/indie songs and sort of things.
Well yeah, that's just my opinion tho.
