It wasn't my husband, his family :( unfortunate. Thank you on replying! Luv your music. Shukran!!

I'm sorry to hear that ... :( will reply any time ! Thank you so much !

It's not being sensitive. I am married to a Syrian and Arabs always say their "everything" is superior, cutest kids, most beautiful women and say it as "fact" ok. My children are half Arab, are they half as cute? Nationality doesn't make you a good person or better than others.

I don't know about your husband, but when I say these things I am only joking. To me, all people in the world are of equal value and beauty and I cherish this world's diversity as one of its most inspiring and awesome assets.

Why do Arabs always say they are the cutest, most beautiful women, funniest, best food. Isn't it insulting on non-Arabs? I think so.

We don't mean it that seriously. We just like who we are, while Western media keeps depicting us as the world's scariest most horrendous people. See what I mean?

Does ur energy ever run out. U do so many things!

My energy sometimes gets drained, but never by what the Zionists do. The only thing that manages to get me down is seeing discord and lack of cooperation between Palestinians. Apart from that, I am absolutely unstoppable.

what would Palestinians think if Western guerilla / resistance groups began taking direct action in solidarity with Palestine again? Would it harm the cause?

What we need in Palestine is support of the existing Palestinian activism and resistance activities. This is much more effective, and very much needed. Outside action has a huge potential of harming the cause.

Weirdest question you ever got??

Hard to choose. I got some quite weird ones as you can see, but I find them amusing :D

do you support the PFLP?

I support ALL Palestinians who wage resistance against the Zionist state, so that definitely includes the PFLP.

What do u feel is needed for pro-Palestinian activism to become more effective?

Sometimes there is too much going on in the sense of 'my group', or 'my friends'. If all those who think alike cooperate more, effectiveness increases a lot. For example, just think about how powerful the pro-Samer Issawi activities on Twitter would become if all major pro-Palestine groups joined in. To me, it is totally incomprehensible how many Palestine celebs and online active groups are just standing on the side and watching. It doesn't make any sense at all.

What's the best online source of information on Palestine?

When it comes to supplying comprehensive up-to-date information, Occupied Palestine is hard to beat.

Who is ur favorite Palestine commentator/analyst?

Ramzy Baroud. Eloquence, vision, views, dedication to the cause. Highly recommended.

Whats ur best song in ur opinion

That's like asking me which of my children I love the most ... but perhaps I could say I am really happy with the way I recorded 'Right of Return', especially from the perspective of arrangement/production.

What instruments do u play?

Guitar, bass, keyboards/piano, drums. Also Arabic instruments: Oud, darbuka and shibbabeh (Palestinian flute).

Would u vote for a woman to be the leader of palestine

I would vote for personality and skills, so if a woman happens to be the best, then I definitely would.

I only found ur work only recently, though u appear to be quite famous. How come I never heard of u before?

Well I don't think I'm anywhere near famous, so maybe that explains why you haven't heard of me before?

How do u deal with crazy questions?

Check out some of the crazy questions I received, and u will see how I deal with them :D

You are on Deal OR No Deal. Offer is $500,000. The remaining suitcase is either $1,000,000 or $0.50. What would you do? Take the deal or stick with your suitcase?

Not sure I would ever participate in such a thing. But okay, for the sake of argument. I think wisdom is to keep the suitcase ;)
