So with your logic a trans man cant experience transmisogyny because he is viewed as a broken woman?
I guess you could look at it differently for trans men.. At the same time I do not believe there is some unique tier of misogyny that bigots reserve just for trans people. It's tiresome creating new arbitrary labels to describe what at the end of the day is just hatred and ignorance. But at the same time I admittedly cannot speak for the experience of trans men. What I know from my life experience is that anytime I've experienced what other people refer to as "transmisogny", it was people who viewed me as a fucked up dude who needed to conform to a rigid male gender role. That is misandry. Think of all the inflammatory memes that go around making fun of trans girls. It's always "look at this fuckin dude in a dress".
When someone treats a trans woman poorly or discriminates against them, they are experiencing misandry, not misogyny. The person views the trans woman as a broken man, not a woman.
I thoroughly enjoy all of your videos. I hold a job where I am forced to conform to feminist dogma every day, and watching you and a few other people speak honestly about issues of gender keeps me from going insane. You're amazing, Blaire
Do transwomen generally use there penis sexually, or is it generally left unacknowledged?
It all depends. Some tgirls might like to use it, while others hate that part of themselves so much they wouldn't dream of it. Some partners will be attracted to that part of us, some may not. The stars have to align
Is the rate of sexual orientations among trans people the same as cis people (like most straight and homo/bi/assexual minority) or are the rates different from the ones tha are observable on cis people?
From personal experience of the trans people I know, it seems to be about the same. But that's just my anecdote. It's hard to get good statistics on trans people because we are so spread out and isolated
Also in terms of voice I heard hormones don't affect your voice so how do you do for your voice to "pass"? Is that the voice you always had or did you have to do voice training to mold it?
I have never voice trained. My voice never dropped. *shrug*
