I understand. There's a shitton of stuff that I see in my head, and want to share with people, but I can't, since telepathy doesn't exist. Including seeing entire albums (notably True Colors) as entire stories crafted by artists. I know it's not what they intend, but it's how I see it.
I will listen to the stuff you've sent me soon, it's just impossible to do so in the middle of Utah since I'm constantly on the road, and data is spotty as hell.

I think Scott just made a mistake in this game. I think he intended for the mid to be the bite of 87 victim, hallucinating all of the game's events. He just maybe forgot the fact that he wrote that the kid lived, and that he incorrectly assumed how frontal lobe injuries work.
If this is indeed intentional though, I think we'll get a better look either through the upcoming DLC, or through the movie. If not, well then the mistake is made. Scott isn't perfect. We'll just have to see.
