2/2 even contacted the legend Brian Eno himself for the production of "Souvlaki" and his involvment was a very good decision by Neil. Also, there are IDM collabs: I remember an AFX and Squarepsuher one and AFX and Autechre. There may be more too. And yeah, the last part is 10000% agreeable.

Touche. I'm still looking for a (very, very slight) Boards of Canada traversal towards in their music. I love Geogaddi and it's style. I really would like to borrow some of those sounds. and do something awesome with them.

Bilinda used to record her vocals when she got up/when Shields woke her up. Might dig up an interview. Basically she looks sleepy the entire time.

Makes sense.

The guitar drone on this Slowdive song is just amazing. Souvlaki has amazing drones in it, especially in Alison, 40 Days and When The Sun Hits. https://youtu.be/3AjsdpVZp38?t=1m6s

See, now this type of music is what I wanna see mashed with electronic music. Just think about it. Slowdive's style is awesome. They've worked at it for years. And now let's go to someone like David Guetta, Mike Hawkins, Nicky Romero or Alesso. Not all of their songs are great. But with the right songwriting and production choices, this can extend fanbases.
Imagine a drone like that, accompanied with Alesso's violins, and Nicky Romero's perc stems. That's how you extend everyone out. All the IDM artists like BoC and Richard D. seem to rarely collaborate with anyone. And when they do, you don't really know the different production choices from the two artists since they have separate fanbases. The EDM world has more artists, and signature synths for each one, making it easy to identify most of them. They also blend with other genres very easily. Hell, Steve Aoki made an EDM with Bill Nye the Science Guy of all people!
But the world of EDM is mostly made of preformers. They make the same stuff over and over again so that it's easy to make mashups of the same style, and drop them on their next set in Amsterdam, Stolkhom, Vegas, New York, you name it. Made even worse by the radio if your someone like Calvin Harris, who play his songs all over the radio. This gives Harris less space to spread out since it makes him stick to the same formula so that he earns more money to fund his gigs. But that being said, there's some people out there who try to balance radio/DJing out with real music. Calvin, Zedd, and Tobu are some great examples. Once we get through those flaws, I think we can combine the world's music, and make amazimg stuff. End rant.

Basically. It actually turns into a demon possession Let's Play midway through. My voice doubles, the screen's colors go inverted, Morgan Freeman shows up as a ghost at one point. Very odd really. But that's what you get playing video games at three am.

Ok, I can only think of 3 reasonable explanations that make sense here. That guy either wanted to take his relationship with PS4's to the next level, was having a very weird and fucked up panic attack, or he just wanted to get famous on the internet. If he was trying for the last one, he definitely succeded.
